The full context isn't about when Obama took office. The economy was in free fall before Obama was sworn in.

You cannot say Obama didn't save the economy from the free fall it was in and have credibility. You can argue over how he saved it and what the repercussions were, but doing so without the full context just makes you look like a dopey oddball dude type.
