The American conservative Union

Acorn is a distraction from important issues. Curious that the name is repeated so often, and yet they probably helped lots more people in American than the right wingnuts who constantly bring up their name. When you do something good for all, you do something that counts. Acorn did that.

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." Proverbs 31:8-9

"The magnitude of the fiscal wreckage and the severity of the economic dangers that resulted are too great to permit such an easy verdict. In the larger scheme of democratic fact and economic reality there lies a harsher judgment. In fact, it was the basic assumptions and fiscal architecture of the Reagan Revolution itself which first introduced the folly that now envelops our economic governance.

The Reagan Revolution was radical, imprudent, and arrogant. It defied the settled consensus of professional politicians and economists on its two central assumptions. It mistakenly presumed that a handful of ideologue were right and all the politicians were wrong about what the American people wanted from government." David Stockman, The triumph of politics

- Our second republican, a Reagan republican:

'The Mother of All Messes' By Paul Craig Roberts

"Republicans are sending around the Internet a photo of a cute little boy whose T-shirt reads: “The mess in my pants is nothing compared to the mess Democrats will make of this country if they win Nov. 2nd.”

One can only wonder at the insouciance of this message. Are Republicans unaware of the amazing mess the Bush regime has made?

It is impossible to imagine a bigger mess. Republicans have us at war in two countries as a result of Republican lies and deceptions, and we might be in two more wars--Iran and Pakistan--by November. We have alienated the entire Muslim world and most of the rest.

The dollar has lost 60% of its value against the euro, and the once mighty dollar is losing its reserve currency role.

The Republicans’ policies have driven up the price of both oil and gold by 400%.

Inflation is in double digits. Employment is falling.

The Republican economy in the 21st century has been unable to create net new jobs for Americans except for low wage domestic services such as waitresses, bartenders, retail clerks and hospital orderlies." Paul Craig Roberts: The Mother of All Messes

There is no substitute for Integrity. Keep studying that Bible Midcan, that's admirable. Watch out with that mix with politics though, in relation to the corruption of principle. You might want to cut back on the Kool-Aid just a bit, it's effecting your judgement. Claimed good intention is no substitute for competence and ability. The end does not justify the means. The means is capable of disqualifying intent. You are entitled to your own opinion, not re manufacturing history or fabricated facts. No offense meant. When Studying Bible, try to consider Government's role in Revelation.

WTF? Are you just drunk all the time or a true whacko, "darling"...

The Government of the end times - what will it be like

Nice Avatar Maggie. Actually I have not started drinking yet. Can I get you another, Dear????? That is if there is any left.

another ACU hero:

John Terrence "Terry" Dolan (1950 – December 28, 1986) was an American New Right political operative who was co-founder and chairman of the National Conservative Political Action Committee (NCPAC).[1]

An outspoken critic of gay rights, he was discovered to have been a closeted homosexual[2][3][4] who frequented gay bars in Washington, D.C.[5] He died from complications of AIDS, aged 36.[6] - Terry Dolan (activist) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In November, he defeated Wallace by just under two points (3,500 votes) in November. Everett probably wouldn't have won if not for redistricting changes that moved most of Montgomery's black residents to the 7th District to create a minority-majority district. - Terry Everett - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia one of the most conservative members of the House. He had the highest lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union of any member of the Alabama delegation.

American Conservative Union | Right Wing Watch
In a recent issue of Foreign Policy magazine, journalist Peter Beinart reassesses the legacy of Ronald Reagan by first restating the most common assumption about our 40th president, that “Ronald Reagan was the Ultimate Hawk.” Is this true? “Not so much,” writes Beinart:

“Today’s conservatives have conjured a mythic Reagan who never compromised with America’s enemies and never shrank from a fight. But the real Reagan did both those things, often. In fact, they were a big part of his success…

Founded by William F. Buckley in 1964, the American Conservative Union (ACU) is one of the nation's oldest lobbying groups on the Right. It is best known for its annual ratings of Congress and its sponsorship of the annual Conservative Political Action Convention (CPAC), a gathering of Washington insiders, right-wing pundits and grassroots activists from across the country.

1,600 cases of multiple applications from the same

Does that even make sense? Who is going to sit and fill out EXACTLY one thousand and six hundred applications?

How many times will that person vote?

Do Republicans believe any old thing? No matter how stupid sounding or dumb?

If you're going to make shit up, at least, make it somewhat believable.

Next, you'll be telling us the president is a Nazi Muslim who was born in Kenya and whose mother knew he was going to be president BEFORE he was even born.

Oh wait, dumbass Republicans say that now.

No wonder you guys are such a mess. At least you give me a good laugh.
