I don’t know if this was for real or tongue-in-cheek. Here they go:

Law 1: Always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.

Law 2: The probability that a certain person be stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person.

Law 3. A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.

Law 4: Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals. In particular non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places and under any circumstances to deal and/or associate with stupid people always turns out to be a costly mistake.

Law 5: A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person.

This was created for financial investing but makes a whole lot of sense in a wide range of things. Human life for one and certainly politics. Especially the last one as we seem to have an endless number of them in offices across the country.

In Engineering, we say "You can not make something idiot-proof because the world will always come up with an improved idiot"

Very dumb people are too dumb to realize they are dumb. They do tricks like dogs do and consider that smart. They need constant slapping by other idiots.

Lol, that is soo true!! ...

I worked in heavy industry and manufacturing as a mechanical engineer for many years. And no matter how safe and ergonomic we designed and fabricated the equipment. Invariably, one of the production workers would still find a way to get themselves hurt, destroy the equipment, or both. ...
