The problem with such rankings, is that most of them are extremely subjective.

Nothing irritates me more, than a massive city. I hate massive cities.

Most people like them.... (I think....).... but I hate them. I hate massive crowds where I can't hardly walk anywhere. I hate non-stop noise that never ends. I hate flickering lights flashing in my face until the end of time.

I'll take old Hilliard, over any of those places.

One of the metrics was the sub-way system. I'll take this over any sub-way system.

Sports? Massive stadiums, where the cost of a ticket is a weeks wage, only to end up with a worse view of the action, than you could get with your remote at home? And pay 1/4th the cost for all the drinks you could possibly want?

The only measurement that actually mattered to me, was the crime. Crime is a big deal. It doesn't matter what any city offers, if you lose your stuff to thieves, and end up mugged on the way home.

And I love how Singapore was on there, given the way they handle crime is with a noose. You want to hang criminals, in order to catch up to Singapore, I'm all for it.

Singapore is great. They rank at Number 8 on the corruption index, pretty impressive for Asia; the U.S. is way down at number 18. Higher numbers mean less corruption on this scale. They were as corrupt as Mexico some 70 years ago, had enough of the status quo in Asian culture and launched an anti-corruption drive, and are now one of the best places in the world for education and doing business.

The U.S. desperately needs an anti-corruption drive; or perish.

Well... yes... but first we need a reformation of morals.

As much as the left-wing on this forum scream and yell about corruption... they actually love it. We know this because of Hillary Clinton, and before her, Bill Clinton.

Both were 100% corrupt to the core. These people had scandals following them around their entire careers.

One of the big areas where I break away from my Right-wing friends, is that I never hated Obama. I hated his policies.... no question. Bad policies.

But Obama the man? I always thought Obama was a good guy. Still do. Can you list off all the Obama scandals? Not many. The IRS thing, but I wage that really was a bad IRS agent. There is no evidence anyone above directed the targeting of conservative groups. Fast and Furious, which was an obviously screwed up sting operation. And Benghazi, which was clearly more tied to Hillary than Obama. And the NSA thing, which was in progress long before Obama came along.

Obama was really a pretty decent guy. But the Clintons.... more like a mafia, than a couple of politicians. The number of scandals around these two is endless.

And the left-wing never once even considered saying enough corruption. They defended them to the bitter end, and even to this day... we can post on this forum, and numerous times have, all the evidence of corruption... and they still won't say they did anything wrong.

That's the problem. There is a large group of people that love evil, love criminals, support wrong doing, and support corruption.

So an anti-corruption drive, isn't likely to do anything. Remember, in the mid-90s Al Gore walked into a Buddhist temple, and collected thousands of dollars in brown paper bags. He made calls directly from the office of the vice-president asking for money. Both actions completely illegal, completely corrupt.

He almost won the election in 2000.

Until people actually support good, and oppose evil, there will be no anti-corruption drive.
