The Ds are doing their best to lose this midterm because of some really bad news due to last year's tax bill.

How bad is that news?

The left coast, CA in particular, is on track to have its worst fire season, possibly, ever. (arson is suspected in most fires but that is usually true.) Junkies and career criminals are pouring in to the left coast to provide extra oomf to this normal cycle

The real estate market is awful and getting worse in most of the northeast.

So, the Ds would be happy to see the coming collapse of jobs and aftertax income in their usual strongholds to happen under a Republican state regime but with gerrymandering that isn't going to happen because they have waited too long in the election cycle to make it possible to tag Rs with the coming mess

So the 2020 election cycle is when the Rs Greens and socialists will make gains in the current Blue wall and reapportionment will shrink the number of house seats.

The Ds will have serious problems getting a survivable gerrymander and I have no idea how that will work out. That is why I say 2022 will be a strange election year. What do you expect to see happen?

2018 is where I'm at. I generally like your comments but you totally lost me on this one.

The Blue Wall will mostly see a collapse of state and local tax base after the election this year. That in turn will cause major D losses in 2020. I'm mostly wondering what will replace the Ds after that kind of disaster.

Bad fire season due to arson?

You Snowflakes will do anything to avoid admitting global warming

Its like saying the government budget cuts along with an active hurricane season in the Gulf (red states line the Gulf) will cause the GOP to lose Congress. How many years have GOP governors “cut spending to the bone”—forever. Yet every year when their coastal towns are ravaged by flooding and high winds; not one of the dumbasses who voted for the gubnah ever thinks, “Ya know, we could use more first responders, more flood control canals, better evacuation routes, etc….” They just pull the lever for whatever empty suit has an R next to their name.

Dumber than usual OP.

CC if you are too stupid today to understand the difference between tax flight and natural disaster you are in need of a recovery clinic
