Scott Walker, an early contender, makes surprise exit from 2016 race

He entered the race on July 20, 2015.

Elapsed time = 99 days.

Scott Walker's campaign lasted 70 days, or about 2 and 1/3 months.

Before he entered the race, Scott Walker was considered a heavyweight by more in GOP circles, so this early exit from the race is indeed somewhat of a surprise.

There are now 15 Republican candidates for President instead of 17.

Bush will still likely end up being the nominee. Most of these clowns will drop like flies due to a lack of funding. Bush has the money to go the distance. As the others drop out, Bush will see his numbers increase. Trump will never hit 50%. The real question is whether any candidate can hit 50%. Carly being the only woman will likely find enough financial support to hang in there until the end. I see the last four standing being Trump, Fiorina, Bush, and Rubio.

Right now T-Rump, Carson and Fiorina have more than 50% of the support between them. Bush-3rd and Rubio take the next 20% leaving remaining 10 candidates to share about 25% between themselves.

Not hard to make an educated guess where this is now heading.
