The #1 fake news outlet in America strikes again

What's really funny about the OP is that he cites CNN and then claims Trump made this story up.

This kills me. Too funny because CNN blames Trump for the tweet but they ran the story too.

None of the reporting from CNN was fake. The first article clearly named Iran as the source of the claim to have launched an ICBM. Reports from multiple other sources did the same thing. The articles, including the first CNN article, make it clear that the report is a claim being made by Iran. Nothing is fake in that article. Iran did indeed make the claim and that is not in dispute.

The next article by CNN reported that US intelligence assets could not and cannot confirm the ICBM launch. There was nothing fake about the report or article. It was made after the initial Iran claim was made and the US assets were able to review the data. CNN was simply reporting the news as the news was received. It is up to the consumers of the news to assess and interpret the news they receive without preconceived ideas and the omission of important data that does not fit their preconceived ideas or influence of already politically set ideas. The news from the US intelligence assets was real. Nothing CNN reported was fake.

The point that is being made and should be of concern is that the PINO trump did not have the knowledge to know his intelligence assets could and would give him a better knowledge of the facts than the Iran government or government-controlled news agencies. It is one thing to see the general public or even other governments be duped and suckered by propagandist in the Iran government but another thing to realize the PINO can be baited, duped and suckered so easily

CNN??? Are you trying to be funny?

Well can you find any verifiable information that Iran fired such missiles?

It was reported right across the media spectrum that the missile had been fired including the BBC and Reuters. And the new stories out claiming it hadn't been fired are reporting from anonymous sources.

No official has come out and confirmed jack shit. Frankly, its nuts. But Trump was not the one that made it up.

But this would require some thinking on the part of certain people. Like when climate scientists make predictions, and then many on the right take this as a "this will happen" type thing.

Well first off I never claimed that the CNN articles were fake. The OP claimed Trump made the story up.

The OP did not make the point you are claiming he made. "The point that is being made and should be of concern is that the PINO trump did not have the knowledge to know his intelligence assets could and would give him a better knowledge of the facts than the Iran government or government-controlled news agencies."

That was not in the OP. As to the new articles they rely on anonymous sources. No name has been given from the intelligence agencies. It would be nice if someone could clear up this dogs breakfast.

I want to point out though that both British and French governments reacted along with Trump to the news. Please be certain to chide them as well.

So when is someone going to come out and verify that Iran launched the missile or provide evidence that they didn't. I'd like to find out what really happened.

BBC disagrees.

"Iran says it has successfully tested a new-medium range missile, in defiance of US President Donald Trump.

The launch of the Khoramshahr missile, which has a range of 2,000 km (1,242 miles), was shown on state TV. It is unclear when the test took place.

On Friday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Iran would increase its military power "as a deterrent".

US President Donald Trump criticised the launch, saying the missile was capable of hitting its ally Israel.

The Khoramshahr missile was first displayed at a military parade on Friday in Tehran. It is capable of carrying multiple warheads, Iranian media report."

Iran tests missile in defiance of Trump
Fail. Trump tweeted that Iran " just" tested that missile. BBC said "It is unclear when the test took place."

And now your favorite news outlet Fox News confirms that this missile was a dud 7 months ago. Iran's supposed missile launch was fake, US officials say

Both the BBC and Reuters begin their articles by making it clear that the alleged launch came from a statement from the President of Iran and were published immediately following his announcement.

You are correct, trump was not the one who made it up. According to US intelligence, the President of Iran made it up and trump was duped into believing it and making a comment about it before talking to his national security and intelligence assets.

from the op link

US intelligence radars and sensors "picked up no indication" of an Iranian ballistic missile launch in the days surrounding a reported test, according to a Trump administration official familiar with the latest US assessment.
Iranian reports that the nation tested a new ballistic missile so far does not appear to be true, the official said, adding: "As far as we can see, it did not happen."

State-run broadcaster Press TV reported the launch on Saturday, according to footage broadcast on Iranian state television.

"Iran has released footage of the successful test-launch of its new ballistic missile, Khorramshahr, a few hours after it was unveiled during a military parade in the capital city of Tehran," Press TV said.

But the telemetry, or electronic signals, of a ballistic missile launch would have been picked up by a variety of US assets in the region who keep an around the clock eye on Iran's weapons activities, the official said.

Who is the so called official that is quoted?

Because I just posted a variety of media outlets who reported the launch. Trump didn't get this information out of thin air. AND that's what the OP was claiming.
What's the name of the official quoted by BBC?

Now we know that Trump spread fake news via his moronism. Thanks.

Iran just fired a missile capable of reaching Israel, President Donald Trump tweeted earlier today. then we learned that Trump (the main fake news outlet in America) just made it up.

You use a fake news source to try and convince others that it is real news that's fake?...dude, even fortune cookies have more crediblity than CNN
Fox News just embarrassed the hell of of you, and the winner is CNN, which makes you look like a "fake news" crier who turned out to be a fake news peddling nickname on a message board. Iran's supposed missile launch was fake, US officials say

Her name is not fake. She is not peddling a fake name. She is a fairly well-known singing artist that records under that name and has for a long time. Not sure if she still does, but she did at one time.

I do not depend on this forum for any accurate news. It's mainly an entertainment site. Still, having said that, I looked and could not confirm anything, in any news venue, about an Iranian missile launch. Not surprising as the multitude here doesn't value substance just something to argue over.

"U.S. officials say", in other words more anonymous sources say. If the US is going to say it's fake, then let them say so publically. The "source" also admits they don't know if President Trump received a briefing about the matter.

You moron. All the news outlets reported that Iran had launched the missile. Including CNN. Then both Fox and CNN and I assume others are now all putting out the story that the launch was fake.

But make no mistake. All of them initially reported that Iran had launched the missile and both France and Britain reacted furiously to the news.

Thank you. This is truly a dogs breakfast. What's funny is that CNN could report that Iran launched the missile turn around and then say the launch was fake but Trump's tweet was the problem.

Well no news agency apparently could confirm the launch either and yet they reported on it. Including BBC and Reuters.

So fuck yourself and your holier than thou opinion of the board.
