Thanks for having me...

Do you struggle with plain English or just the difference between plural and singular? My quote was..."10 year veteran of political chat boards"...see, the "s" behind the word board indicates that there are others out there besides this one...I used to and still do post on other boards...one of them was Slate's Fray.

Must be a pretty boring life for you if your first reaction to someone is to think they are liars and feeling the need to investigate their past...

does old stuff come up? perhaps he is like me...likes to lurk in the shadows?

Pretty hard to "piss off democrats and republicans, alike" that way....

:eusa_eh:[/QUOTE

and yet i still manage lol....

republicans took offense at the ...ignorant and ill informed comment....but hey big walked right into that one...

o and now its just the fault of liberals.....didnt take long for that to come out

In other words...all decision made after judicial review are gospel? How do you feel regarding the Citizen's United decision? Let me guess, that's an exception...

don't pretend you know what i'm going to say... unless you're someone's sock, you've been here about 3 minutes...

citizens united is the worst decision made by the court since Dred Scott and Plessy v Ferguson...

it's also the law until a better court shows up or the constitution is amended to fix it (which it won't be).

You were here when I arrived.
I know I was searched when I first arrived.
:D

And yes, #58, with the sheer volume of Trolls and Liars around here, I like to get a feel for what kind of bullshit I'm replying to.

Step out of your own introduction thread and into some debates and let people see what you claim to represent.

Never said it was a living document...actually said the opposite...further, I never suggested that I had read every document written...I see that this site isn't that much different than others I've been a member of...every comment made is absolute and meant as all encompassing...funny, wonder how long it will take for some lefty Democrat to call me "racist" because I disagree with Obama's decisions.

These sites may have different names, but the approach of the members is all the same.

See, if I had pretended I knew what you were going to say, I wouldn't have ended my first comment with a (?). Understand that since I included the (?), I was asking, not stating. You were the one that brought up Marbury v Madison...and I showed you how M v M has it's faults as well. Courts make imperfect and wrong decisions...courts don't allow the citizenry to make changes to their decisions...the Founders did, however, allow a process where the citizenry can change parts of the Constitution that need to be changed due to advances in technology or changes in the time.

Seems I may have struck a little nerve there...

And, that isn't my fault...it's a pretty simple change to make and it's much easier to follow. Wanna do things the hard way and continually guess at who the responses are to...that's your prerogative. But, I'm not going to change the way I respond so that you can keep your set up in the linear mode.

i doubt people here track responses the way you're suggesting. if you want to be understood, you're better off with the quote function.

First I'll introduce myself...I'm, as you can see, Number_58. I'm just a scoach to the right of most conservatives and am of the opinion that there are very few people in Washington DC that would meet the muster of the Founding Fathers.

I am a strong advocate of following the Constitution as a written document, not a living one. If the founders had meant for the Constitution to be a living document, they would not have included a method of amending it. Ergo, I think that the first Amendment to the Constitution that the federal government should consider before passing any type of legislation is the 10th Amendment...if the subject being considered does not appear in the US Constitution, that means it's not any of their business and it should be left to the states to decide.

I don't envy the wealth of others. That being said, I don't believe they should be made responsible for financing the entire bill, for the expenses of governing a nation, that everyone benefits from. One of the only things that Obama has ever said that I agree with is that..."everyone should have some skin in the game".

It would take hours and several paragraphs to list all of my convictions, as they relate to politics, here. However, any questions you have regarding my position can be asked in a reply...it's probably pretty easy to answer for yourself though, if you reread the second paragraph in my introduction.

Looking forward to meeting all of you on the battlefield.

Love is a battlefield.......great song by Pat Benatar....

Anywho....hello and welcome.........

58...would that be your age??.....your year of birth??......your waist size??...or your I.Q.??

No it's not "much easier to follow." Good luck with expecting several hundred people to do things your way. This should be oodles of fun.
