Wouldn't this allow people to express their dissatisfaction with your post without resorting to Neg rep which, IMHO, should be used only for the most vile posts.

I lobbied for the same thing a while back. But obviously it didn't happen.

I'd still be in favor of a no-thanks button. Perhaps it could say:

The following posters sarcastically thank "manifold" for wasting their time with this useless drivel.

The programmers could include a bummer award after so many "No Thanks" are collected.
