It's always around this time of year that I feel the urge to pass along my heart-felt thanks to the Pagans, Atheists, Agnostics, and the other flavors of non-Christians. So, I'd like to thank you for yet another couple-few weeks out of the month of December where you have taken the time and energy out of your lives to teach me about my religion and the days that I hold dearly as holy. Thank you for reminding me, AGAIN, of the Pagan roots of Christmas time. It never gets old for me. Thank you for another year of instructing me on the origins of my tree, mistletoe, ornaments, stockings, etc... Thank you for reminding me that, as much as you don't believe in my Christ, (some of) you have no problem celebrating a day that has His name as the root word. Thank you. I look forward to chatting with you, again, in March or April when you can further teach me AGAIN about the fertility rituals and symbolism as they pertain to Easter. As a token of my thanks, I'd like to leave you with this: Romans 14:13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
