There is a little investigation going on right now--perhaps you've heard of it--concerning possible obstruction of justice by Trump and possible collusion with Russia during the campaign. Trump keeps insisting that he's entirely innocent. It would be much more reassuring if he wasn't being caught out in bold faced lies that have been clearly laid at his feet. It would be much more reassuring if we could give him the benefit of the doubt. But we can't, because if he will nonchalantly lie about Stormy, all facts to the contrary, what else will he lie about?

TBH, the "pay off" doesn't interest me in the least. I don't see how this is any different from the nondisclosure agreements that are signed every day after settlements with women in binding arbitration. Fox did it to protect O'Reilly and Ailes. It is done every day to quiet women who have been sexually harassed by Congressmen.

For me, the only take away is the shining example of the President's inherent dishonesty and how he manages to involve all the people around him in his deceits. If you don't think that has anything to do with his Presidency, his leadership, I don't know what to tell you.
