Damn interesting....

Coming to America: Foreign Manufacturers Looking to Produce in the U.S. | Global Supply Chain Law Blog

There’s been buzz about Keer Group lately, the Chinese textile company that opened a cotton mill this year in South Carolina. China has long been seen as the global capital of textile manufacturing, due in part to their low production costs and seemingly endless supply of cheap labor. But Keer Group found the rising costs in China made it difficult to grow in its hometown of Hangzhou. Wages there have been steadily increasing, energy costs are rising, and shipping costs are growing higher. Textile operations in China are actually starting to become unprofitable. So production was moved to America.

Nice...

Now you've done it. Obama will read this, then figure out how to make it LESS profitable for American manufacturers to operate in the United States. This won't stand with the Kenyan President.

I'd like to know the details.
- Where is the cotton grown?
- How much shipping is involved? 1 way? 2 ways?
- Computers run these machines. That may dial back any advantage China had.
- For decades the U.S. has been able to out-compete lower-wage labor markets, with superior efficiency. How much is that a factor here?
- Energy costs. Fuel is cheap right now. That dials back transport costs. Is this move in connection with a return to $95.oo / bbl oil?

Wow, the US economy must really be bad if China is moving its manufacturing here because its cheaper. I guess all those illegal immigrant workers and a wrecked economy have finnally paid off.

Thank you Mr President
He didn't have a thing to do with it.

Sure he did. The president gets credit/blame for what happens during his watch. Good on him, and secretaries Kerry and Clinton.
Will he also get credit when Iran starts a nuclear war with Israel?

Only if Israel loses.
What about the million or so who would be incinerated within the first hour or so, they don't matter?

Yeah, like you care.

If Israel wins, you guys will proclaim whomever is in the Oval is a genius (if he is a Republican). If not...
It will be her/his fault and Obama's.

Raise the MW up to $15 bucks nationally see what happens
