Nothing, not even a SCOTUS ruling, has stopped Planned Parenthood from getting federal tax dollars to run their abortion factories. The thing that bugs me is knowing that PP will use tax dollars to fight one:

A Texas judge has ruled that the state may cut off funding to Planned Parenthood's family planning programs for poor women.

Attorney general spokeswoman Lauren Bean said Judge Gary Harger has ruled that Texas may exclude otherwise qualified doctors and clinics from receiving state funding just because they advocate for abortion rights. The state has long banned the use of state funds for abortion.

Maybe those among us who repeatedly deny that Planned Parenthood uses tax dollars to perform abortions can explain this:

In its latest annual report for fiscal year 2011 to 2012, Planned Parenthood reveals that it performed 333,964 abortions in 2011 – a record year for the organization.

Planned Parenthood reported receiving a record $542 million in taxpayer funding, according to a Susan B. Anthony List analysis of the report, in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements. The amount is 45 percent of Planned Parenthood’s annual revenue.

. . . cancer screening & prevention services have dropped by 29 percent.
