Unemployment Rates for States

It shouldn't.....people are FLOODING HERE....that is the ONLY reason our unemployment rate is now going up....it's not for a lack of jobs...it's too many people coming here from the states and areas with REAL unemployment problems.....

47% of Texas children live in poverty- it's great!!

Says the bureau of pullingstatisticsfrommyass.

But here in the real world it's 24%.

Swing and a miss, loon.

I'll go with Randi Rhodes- also last in HS grads over 25, % insured, #48 in employer insured and % women voters, #6 for women in poverty, #1 in home schooled- a MESS.

And the Cowboys fans are worse than the Cowboys.

You'll go with a talking head pundit that offers nothing to back up whatever they spew, as opposed to actual census data that, ya know, is actually scientific and stuff.

Figures.

Just imagine how much lower Texas would be ranked if they didn't have strong housing regulations stemming from the S&L crisis, exogenous oil shocks, and military contracts.

Good thing Perry is there.

Yep, how great is that? Perry is the big get-government-out-of-the-way guy, bragging about his state's prosperity, a state that dodged the real estate bullet because its government WAS in the way.

lol

well apparently Texas is doing better than your State Dean.....the only State i can make fun of is Nevada....

I grew up in California and currently live in Illinois.

Did you actually READ the PDF?

You should try this one:

The Texas State Republican Party Platform. it's a good read and it's "hilarious".

this thread is about unemployment not your old standby the Texas Republican Party Platform.....and the chart says Texas has less than Illinois....
