And we should believe him? This man claimed he had THOUSANDS of pages of verifiable proof, yet he hasn't produced anything of value to date. If so many Americans doubted you and many are calling you a liar, wouldn't you just produce the documents you claimed you have to clear your name?

Bottom line, O'neill's word is worth dog crap at this point.

Perhaps - or perhaps he does not want to goto jail for releasing classified documents.

I get tired of saying it but the War In Iraq was priority one for our National intrest, secure future energy resreves. We are running out of Oil its getting harder to procure. Why do you think gas is getting so expensive. When we run out of cheap energy we are in trouble.

The debate on if the war is just or not is old folks i suggest we argue about the failure of this adminstration to secure the Iraqi boarder after we kicked the crap outta the troops guarding it which allowed all these screwed up terrorist to get in and stir up the mobs, and insurgents. It was a just goal to try and make the world safer and it is good that sadam has lost what little power he had left(i think bushes papa shoulda done it way back when, and clinton after him), but the fact is that our people and iraqi people are dieing over there because of some pretty bad lacks of insight by our administration.

And to say we should go comandeer a news station and pump counter propaganda throught it is silly why stoop to their level. It would make us even more of a target, and extreemists would compare us to the National Socialist Party

Statements by former Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill about Bush's first few days in office.

O

But for real context you need to read his book - "The Price of Loyalty".

Wade.

I have. LOL Mr. O'Neill that was so insulted that he couldn't get into meetings with the ease of Colin Powell or Condi Rice. Treasury Secretary that tried to 'peek' at papers on desks.

Papers that had to do with the Iraq reports from the Clinton administration, I suppose you would choose to have a president who didn't look over intel on an area that the former President had basically declared war on? :eek2:
Annie seemed to think he was a disgruntled eemployee
