Terrorism the most critical security issue

A Gallup poll shows that 82% of Americans see terrorism as a critical security issue - more than any other issue facing the US over the next few years.

Terrorism beat out the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, India/Pakistan, Russia, and China, as well as the tides of immigration and economic competition from countries with lower wages.
 
I can understand the immigration, but what does economic competition have to do with national security?
 
If we didnt buy all the crap imported into this country? what do you think would happen to the WORLD ECONOMY? swirl-swirl-swirl...right down the crapper. as we go so do the rest of the world. As proven by the after effects of 9/11.
