There is a difference between terrorism and retaliation. Even though the results could look exactly the same.

Terrorism:

the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes

a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

We know what retaliation is.

Remember how the country changed after what conservative whites did to innocent blacks in the south. The violence. The cross burnings. The lynchings. The attacks on marchers. The Jim Crowe laws.
