one cannot pick and choose what parts of the bible they elect to believe in....
....
Why not? I am not aware of any black/white rule in Judeo-Christian faiths.

Ever hear of cafeteria Catholics?

I like some parts of what the First and Second testaments say and some parts of what the Koran says and I like a lot of what there is in Buddhism.

I follow the parts that work for me.

I rarely go to any church for faith feeding, though.

i was raised you either accept the entire kjv as the word of god or you dont and go to hell....

i wonder if i get to pass go or collect 200 bucks

Why do you think White Supremacists are Christians? Or that Muslims are leftists? Do you even know what critical thinking is?

KKK have their own churches like The Church of the American Knights led by Jeff Berry of Butler, Indiana

They have their own churches? That makes them Christians? Does that make the Odinists Christians too?

White supremacy

o newby you just had to ask that question didnt ya...

forgive the roughness of this...but its been a long time since i have been exposed to them....

first....when cain leaves eden to go into the land of nod...east of eden....he is marked so that others will know not to kill him...

these people believe cains mark was his skin was colored black

second...

And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant

claims this is the reason blacks are to serve whites...

so yes you can use the bible to defend racism

Those viewpoints are contradictory.

The only people that survived the flood were Noah and his family, who are not from the line of Cain. That means that the mark of Cain cannot be that he was black, otherwise all blacks would have died.

As for Canaan, his descendants went on to settle Canaan, and are also, obviously, not black. That proves that any White Supremacist argument based on either of these positions is not based in either reality, or the Bible. I think that proves that they are not following the teachings of the Bible, or of Jesus.

one cannot pick and choose what parts of the bible they elect to believe in....i am well aware of the law of god and the grace of jesus arguement....

lets look at matthew 15: verses 20 something....where jesus says he comes only for the sheep of israel and helping the cannite woman would be like ...tossing bread to a dog

Hmm...

Why are you arguing that Christians cannot pick and choose, while simultaneously allowing those who distort the Bible to do so?

Funny you mention Noah. I think he is a defense that the Bible is okay with race-mixing.
It's my understanding that Noah's wife was an Ethiopian (black).

Terrorism carried out by Christians, too

Are “all terrorists Muslims” as some have alleged? The European Union law enforcement office just released an assessment of terror in 2009. The report says “Islamist terrorism is still perceived as the biggest threat to most Member States, despite the fact that only one Islamist terrorist attack a bomb attack in Italy took place in the EU in 2009.”

This attack is one out of about 400 failed, foiled or successful attacks reported. There were 110 arrests of suspected Islamists out of a total of 587 arrests for associations with terror groups or failed, foiled or successful attacks. This statistic excludes a large number of Christian terrorists arrested in the UK — primarily from IRA and Protestant groups.

The Global Terror Database, a project of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, documents 87,000 terrorist incidents from 1970 through 2008. It documents far more acts of terror in the United States by right-wing terrorists and animal rights terrorists than by Islamists.

For example, since 1990, 47 law enforcement officials and security guards were murdered by white supremacists and other right-wing extremists.

Are there other Christian terrorists? The Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda, for example, wants to establish a Christian theocracy in the name of Jesus Christ in Uganda. In two years, they have killed 2,000 and displaced another 400,000.

Terror on our planet is driven by political agendas of the left and the right and is perpetrated by alleged followers of many religions.

They say they are Christians. These guys aren't burning a Cross of David or a Crescent.

Again, when you can show which of Jesus's teachings they're following, let me know.

The KKK used to have a big following. Most were following Jesus's teachings. Their entire lives weren't centered around racism. Much of what they did in their lives was living as good Christians should. Their rationale for racism was that Jesus was white and blacks didn't have souls. Segregation was preached in the church as being right and moral. Racism is still alive today, and much of it is perpetrated by those who claim to be Christian. Its not violent, but it exists. How do you validate the tamer, non-violent racism today with the teachings of Christ?

Some say they worship Odin. The cross predates Christianity dating back to ancient Babylon and Chaldea, and was originally the symbol of Tammuz. Just because you do not know this does not mean they do not.

The 'Lords Resistance Army' are not christians.

LRA They are christians like KKK in US or NLFT in India...

When you can show me where they are following the teachings of Christ, then you may have a point. There are christian organizations over there currently that are working against them and trying to save the children that they recruit to do their killing. They are not christians.

LRA sole have slaughtered more people than any other terrorist organization. However Bin Laden still occupy the western agenda in media :doubt:

They call to establish bible commandment state!

I specifically said Christ's teachings, and neither of those are examples of that, nor are they really valid excuses for racism either, and I believe most Christians would agree with that.
and how to explain the existence of white and black churches in 21th century? shame...

I don't get your point. My point was that there aren't any of Christ's teaching that promote racism, His teachings can't be used to validate racism.

They have nothing to do with teachings of Christ, so maybe ask the people who attend them why they segregate themselves, black and white alike.

Only judeo-christians make racial separations in cult places

I never heard about White mosque!

Of course you haven't, that would require listening to something you do not believe.

Perhaps you should say 'only SOME judeo-christians make racial separations...', then your remark may be closer to having some truth in it. And which judeo-christians separate themselves based on race? The white ones? The black ones? Or both? I'm thinking it's both, and if they want to live their lives that way, more power to them.

Do you realize that most bloody wars in 19th and 20th century are motivated by racism not real religion?

Why are you trying to blame religion then?
