Remember why you all got ultra wound up over the questionable language in the NDAA, the possibility that anyone could be rounded up and held in detention without trial? There is no better way to short circuit the slim possibility that this will happen then to find a way to quickly and honestly determine the guilt or innocence of any detainee no matter their nationality and codify the process into law. Right now they are held in limbo without even the right to see the evidence against them. This is not about coddling terrorists, it is about settling a legal question that has gone far too long unanswered.
