Let's keep this thread a positive one. If you have a story of a real life miracle that happened to you or someone you know I'd love to hear it.

If you don't believe in this that's okay, just don't spoil this thread by posting here..........Thanks

One time when I was really upset an angel blew a puff of angelic breath in my face, and then I felt better. Keep in mind, it could have been stress or exhaustion, or maybe.....

One night my mother was lying awake in bed and the room filled up with a brilliant white light which was followed by an angel dressed in a long white gown, big dark eyes, beard and long hair. He was floating on the ceiling looking straight down at her, but she wasn't scared she felt very comforted, he then floated into my room, I was about 11 at the time then floated back into my parents room. He hovered for a moment the flew out the window.

The next day she was home from work and was watching Bill Boggs' show Midday Live, he told of almost the exact same incident that happened to him the night before, she almost fell off the couch.

Me! Me! :D

When my brother was 14, he had a Sudden Death Cardiac Arrest. He was in a gym at school, sat on a bench, took a couple deep breaths and fell over DEAD! The teacher ran over and tried CPR, couldn't get a pulse. Peramedics showed up, and after him being dead for 20 minutes, they finally got a pulse, slightly. Keeping him alive with machines, they got him to the ER, then medivaced to Chapel Hill. For the first 48 hours they said he's going to die. After the 48 hours was up, they said he was in a coma and not waking up. After he started slowly coming out of the coma, they said because of no oxygen to the brain for 20 minutes, IF he woke up, he'd be brain dead. He completely woke up after a month and a half. He was taught how to walk, talk, eat, everything. He looked like a baby growing up mighty quickly.
He had 3 more attacks but they were all while he was still in school. He graduated with his class and even went on and did some college courses.
He's now 29, married, 2 children and another on the way. He's working, he's happy and other than having surgery to replace the difib/pacemaker every few years, he's healthy!!
Even the doctors and nurses at Chapel Hill were calling him a miracle! :D

Definately :D

Here's another one, my grandfather had had a very serious Heart attack and was in intensive care, my mother's friend was a nurse who happened to be on duty that night. She called my mother to tell her he may only have a few hours left. My mother was devastated but she got on her knees at that moment and started praying that God give him more time with us. This was at 10 pm. About a half hour later my parents arrived at the hospital and he was recovering, my mom's friend said that as soon as she hung up the phone with my mother she went back to check on my grandfather and his heart started to beat normally again and he stabilized.........he made a full recovery and had another 7 years with us..........

Miracles that happen to me seem to come in a series of events that are just too strange to be a coincidence. They just make me smile when I see what has happened.

Awesome!! Between your story and mine, it just goes to show the power of Prayer!!

My mother believes an angel saved me from an asthma attack when I was a child.

She tells a story about a man stopping by with an inhaler during an attack. She says I have never had an asthma attack since then. That would be true, I don't have asthma but I don't remember ever having an asthma attack either...

:dunno:

I believe wholeheartedly in that!! My mother felt so helpless in that moment but when she started praying she felt tremendous peace.

That sure sounds like an angel to me. I have been helped twice at least in situations where I was driving in bad weather and skidded into a guard rail or my tire went flat in snow, and even though the roads were completely abandoned, there was always an elderly type man that would show up out of nowhere and help get me on my way. The weird thing is I never really saw them coming or going, it's as if they would just disappear........

My stories are not clear. Twice traveling across country in a little Ford Escort I was sandwiched between two big rigs one entering the highway the other in the lane next to me. For some reason these people never saw my car and just started merging right onto me. Both times I was able to escape by inches, once by stomping the brake the next time by stomping the accelerator. I don't know why I chose the actions that I did, but both times they were obviously the right action..... Well that depends entirely on whether you think I was supposed to be alive right now I guess...

Not to diminish the supernatural nature of your story, but maybe you're just a good driver.

Two things come to mind:

I was 4 years old, and my parents would often awake in the night to the sounds of me screaming. They'd find me roaming my room, or perhaps out of my room, still asleep, arms stretched out in front of me as if I was running from something, in pitch blackness.

After months of this; the better part of a year, I'd often have such episodes. After one particular horrific 'dream', my parents had me in their room, praying for me with much intensity. After some cuddling, they put me back to bed, careful to not awaken my brother who slept in the bunk-bed above me.

As I was drifting to sleep, eyes only partly open I saw a shadow of a hand and forearm reaching down to my chest. My first thought was my father, touching me as if to pray for me. When the hand hit me I felt energized - as if touching an electrical outlet. I opened my eyes to a room as bright as mid-day sun. I had the typical 'dark-to-bright' swirls in my view, yet my eyes didn't 'hurt'. In my doorway stood a bearded man wearing a white robe, with blue robe belt/tie thing. His hands were at his sides, palms facing me. He turned and made eye contact with me, and we held our gaze for an instant. In a flash, the room was dark, and I was asleep.

Those night-terrors, as they are now known never returned from that moment on.

I was walking to school, in the 7th grade. School was probably 2 miles? 3? from my house. As I was approaching an intersection, (there was a telephone pole just at the edge of the sidewalk, so I couldn't see approaching traffic) stepping into the crosswalk, I tripped off the curb. I fell forward an instant - then stopped, mid-air, as a car blew the stop sign and sped past me, inches from my body. As the car passed, my body was picked up, and righted. It was as if I was caught, then placed upright, as one would catch a glass fallen off a table.

God is good.

Very possible, I did say the story was unclear. Split second decisions are often not conscience decisions by their very nature. Hey I am glad I am alive though..

Do you have a six cylinder automobile?

No ford Escort came with a 6 cyl. :) MAYBE the ford 3L 'Vulcan' was placed in an escort, however that's doubtful, as it the 3L was the Taurus engine, too.
