Ted Cruz Unwittingly Helps Democrats

Onus is on you to prove that you included the term "left leaning".

Clue: you didn't!
I cited the "entire" statement. Clue, when you post a reply to someone, it cites all of what they said.

With regard to your phrase, "left leaning Millennials are a growing demographic with a majority that are opposed to everything that the extreme right stands for." You clearly state "a majority that are opposed to everything that the extreme right stands for." The majority refers, clearly, to the previous noun, "a growing demographic." You further state, clearly, that the "growing demographic" is the "left leaning Millennials." Thus BY YOUR WORDS you are clearly stating that the majority of Millennials, are left leaning, and are opposed to everything that the extreme right stands for. I'm not making up what you said. If you think you said something else you need to learn to write better.

Wow! You should get a refund on your home schooling.

This is what I actually posted;

"Actually this is all pointless because no matter how many aging AWG's vote GOP they are already a dwindling minority while the left leaning Millennials are a growing demographic with a majority that are opposed to everything that the extreme right stands for. "

Let's look at the FACTS behind that statement;

The GOP s Millennial problem runs deep Pew Research Center

FT_Ideological_Divide.png

Millennials identify 41% as liberal compared to just 15% as conservative.

FT_Millennials_Government.png

FT_Millennial_Republicans.png

Even when you drill down into Millennials who identify as Republican they are opposed to extreme right positions.

So the FACTS back up that only a small minority of Millennials identify as Republicans and even amongst that small minority they are still opposed to the positions of the extreme right.

Looks like your attempt to do a semantic squirm out of the hole you dug for yourself was an epic failure when you are faced with irrefutable FACTS about Millennials.
IOW you have NOTHING to back up your statement that the majority of millennials are opposed to everything that the extreme right stands for.

rofl_logo.jpg

You get b/slapped by irrefutable facts and your kneejerk reaction is to drown in denial.

Do you hear adults use the terms "sad" and "pathetic" when talking about you?
The only irrefutable fact, is that you're an idiot that can't read charts.

Repeating the same stupid lie over and over again isn't going to change the hard FACTS that prove you wrong.

This is the GOP Presidential hopeful.....you can't get any dumber than this guy. I'm sure in his mind he thought he was doing something spectacular for the Republican Party and would be greatly rewarded.....instead he has angered a few of his peers. And for what?

In a rare Saturday session, the United States Senate ended up passing the $1.1 Trillion spending package that will keep most of the Federal Government funded through the end of the Fiscal Year, but not before a late Friday night political manuver by Texas Senator Ted Cruz allowed Democrats to spend most of Saturday easily confirming nominations that Republicans had long been blocking:

The vote concluded a long day of brinkmanship, spurred by a legislative challenge to Mr. Obama’s executive action on immigration by Senator Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas, who helped force the Senate into a weekend session. By the end of the day, Mr. Cruz found himself isolated even from members of his own party.

“I don’t see what we’re achieving here,” Senator Jeff Flake, Republican of Arizona, said of Mr. Cruz’s strategy.

Speaking of symbolic standoffs, it was thanks largely to an effort by Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to create a symbolic standoff on the immigration issue that Democrats were able to spend the better part of yesterday pushing through a whole host of nomination that had been bottle necked for months:

Senior Republicans say there’s a problem with Cruz’s strategy: The GOP lacks the votes to stop Obama on immigration now, the $1.1 trillion spending package was speeding to passage, and they won’t resort to shutting down the government to mount their objections. Plus, the weekend session could allow Obama to get even more of his nominees confirmed.

So while Cruz and Lee argue they’re taking a hard stand against Obama, the result might allow Democrats to end the year with more of their priorities advanced — and the two conservatives getting nothing.

And Elizabeth Warren isn't grandstanding?

Show us where Elizabeth Warren has made a fool of herself and cost our party embarrassment and given Republicans an opportunity to get something they wouldn't otherwise have gotten?

Apparently you are one that doesn't get it, either.........:)

I get it.

Elizabeth Warren, according to the liberal media, is standing up to the establishment. She's a champion, a giant, a God, just for mouthing off in the Senate. Ted Cruz, however, is an idiot for doing the same exact thing.

No ... I fully understand.

Do you believe that if the banks and wall street collapse the economy again that the people of our nation should bail them out again?

Elizabeth Warren doesn't think that's right. So she tried to remove that from the budget.

Some republican put an amendment in there that would repeal the part of Frank Dodd that prevents banks and wall street from being bailed out again. Elizabeth Warren doesn't believe that they should ever be bailed out. You know, capitalism. The republicans want socialism and put it right in the new budget.

If you call that grandstanding fine. I call it standing up for capitalism and not letting the banks or wall street leach off the rest of us again.

She gives a useless speech and that's supposed to mean she's not part of the establishment?

Paleeeeeze!!!

She's not a part of the conservative establishment. You conservatives scream how you hate socialism then your politicians put it right into our budget. Why didn't any republican or conservative do anything to prevent forcing the people of America to bail out banks and wall street the next time they collapse our economy?

What she did was very different from what cruz did. What legislation or who was confirmed that the republicans wanted? That would be no one. Meanwhile cruz's stunt gave democrats the opportunity to confirm more of Obama's appointments. There are something like a dozen nominees who wouldn't have been confirmed if cruz had not pulled his stunt.

So you're saying you can't be delusional because your brain isn't functional.. Ok...

Wow a person has to be a special kind of stupid to not know there's an Ontario in California.

But then, I've found that conservatives don't travel outside their own county so they have little to no experience with the rest of our nation.

If republicans hated socialism as much as they say they do, they would have been cheering Elizabeth Warren on. Those who honestly don't like socialism should have abandoned the republican party for people who do support capitalism and not socialism.

But the republicans LOVE socialism. Their version of socialism is to privatize the profits and socialize the losses.

So that those who collapse our economy again can once again walk away clean and even with more money than they had before the collapse.

Screw the average American.
