Seems that Ted Cruz had to pull one of his campaign ads because one of the actresses in it had previously performed in at least 2 adult films.

Seems that they had an open casting call, and didn't bother to vet the actors appearing in the ad.

Still think that Cruz is all about good Christian values?

Why not. It isn't like he deliberately set out to find a porn star. She answered a casting call like anyone else.

And if this were 1980, you could say "Oops, she left a whole bunch of stuff off her résumé and we just didn't notice." But thanks to that Internet thing, a ten-second Google search on each actress who showed up to audition would have said "Uh-oh. This one might be a problem."

This is what the Cruz campaign gets for not paying its interns. Though what the excuse is for the professionals who shot the ad will have to be explained to me.

Maybe, maybe not. Porn Stars Tend to have porn star names which are not their regularly used names.

True. But a professional videographer would know where to look.

I'm having a hard time understanding the problem here. Is there something wrong with hiring someone who has made porn to act in some other role? If he isn't making porn what's the issue? Should we boycott rocky movies because Sly did some adult films once upon a time?

Seems to me if you are helping her get out of porn roles you are doing a good job.

The bigger question is how was it discovered she does porn? Isn't it a bit wrong for people who clearly watched it to get upset over her doing something else?
