Five Irvington teens are charged with attacking teacher, face expulsion from high school | NJ.com

FYI - There is no expulsion in the state of NJ. These students will be suspended for a period of time with a private home instructor, paid by the taxpayers, until they are given due process. If there is enough money, they may be sent to an alternative school with a price tag of about 30K per kid. If there is no money, they will be back.

The last line annoys me. I suppose if the students were not upset, then the teacher probably deserved it. Moral relativism at it's worst.

See, this is why we need school vouchers so these kids can be sent to a private school!

Would the kids behave differently in a private school? No. Private schools are not the answer, I've got twelve years of private education in a catholic school. The nuns are worse than the students, they would probably kill one another over turf.

But,,,, but, some want to give vouchers to the parents so they can send their kids to private schools, and get them out of those public schools. Just think~ when these kids parents , and others just like them, start going to private schools{ thanks to vouchers} of all the enrichment they will get!

    It's a win-win for all!

I've got a question. Just because you have a voucher for a private school does the private school have to accept the student? and if not how does the voucher system change anything?
