President Obama signed a bill in August aimed at saving teachers' jobs, with Education Secretary Arne Duncan, Council of Economic Advisers chief Christina Romer and teacher Amanda Van Ness on hand.
.In July, the 25-year-old Ms. VanNess lost her job teaching kindergarten at Pickett Elementary School in Toledo, Ohio, as a result of cuts that came after voters rejected an income-tax increase aimed at shoring up a budget deficit at the Toledo Public School District.

So I guess Obama showed no favoritism?

If she was a Republican she would be a Fox contributor by now, had she done the same kind of thing for Bush?

Just a note: the majority of that $26 billion was for propping up state Medicaid programs. The education component was the smaller piece of it.

Some states are electing NOT TO TAKE federal money that also demands an investment on the part of the states.

How you arrive at declaring that therefore that's

$26B down the same shit hole.

I really couldn't say.

Just more partisan blather, I expect.

That's just how socialist leaders work. People are only props to make political points. After that, they're disposable.

Liberals love props. Gloria Allred had a Latino prop who is now on the run because Allred outed her by using her as a victim prop against Meg Whitman. These stupid morons who vote for these thugs don't realize they are nothing but useful idiots.

So Obama want to create more teachers, when the ones we have are losing jobs. Anybody see a problem there? Anyone?
