A nice post-primary bump for conservative Tea Party candidate Sharon Angle over incumbent Democrat and Senate Leader Harry Reid.

Reid will spend millions on this race to try and hold onto his seat - as of now, the momentum clearly favors the Tea Party Republican candidate...

_____

Sharron Angle, following her come-from-behind Republican Primary win Tuesday, has bounced to an 11-point lead over Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in Nevada’s closely-watched U.S. Senate race.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Nevada, taken Wednesday night, shows Angle earning 50% support while Reid picks up 39% of the vote. Five percent (5%) like some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Ohhhhh.....uh, never mind, it's just a Rasmussen poll.

The woman is notorious as a loose cannon with hoof in mouth disease. Reid spent a lot of money discrediting her opponents in order to get to her.

What I am hoping to see is the same kind of situation where the pitcher walks the bases loaded in order to get to the guaranteed strike out, who hits a home run.

Yes, she is rather aggressive, and has a long record of saying no to her own Republican Party, so she will be open to a ton of attacks. We shall see on this one - for now she has the momentum.

On a national scale the primaries once again show a decided shift in the electorate toward more conservative candidates. Some in the media are attempting to portray the "Tea Party" as a singular cohesive unit, but it is far from that. It is mostly a basic set of ideals spread across the nation, with smaller sub-groups working both from within and outside of the Republican Party. As such, these ideals and the millions of voters behind them, have been very effective in refocusing the Republican Party and generating candidates, both experienced and new, who are now voicing a far more conservative agenda.

It is the essence of a Reset Election, which November 2010 is shaping up to be in a very decisive manner.

We have conservatism in such places as Maine, Washington State, and California now making significant inroads as we march toward the November elections. Add to this the interesting development of many of these candidates are very conservative female candidates, and the influence of such national figures like Sarah Palin becomes undeniable.

This summer is going to be a remarkable one for conservatism in America...

The problem lies in what happens once they get in office... do they become Democrat light like the RINOS?

Reid just has to sit back and let Angle self destruct as she reveals what she really supports.

Self Destruct in..
