Tea Party Or OWS Agenda. Which Do You Prefer?

I think the Tea Party and OWS Movements both have some very legitimate beefs. I think they're actually similar in a lot of ways. But there are big differences too. So what do you think? Which Movement suits you best?

They have legitimate beefs when it comes to Government and Wall Street. They were onto something early on with their protests. But the protests changed as time went by. Now it seems to only be about someone owing them something because they deserve it. But they had it right in the beginning. Now they have lost a lot of support though.

I voted for OWS but I prefer the protest behavior of the Tea Party. I guess I could of voted for both.

Yea but grabbing Taxpayer Freebies is very enticing so i expect that kind of Movement to have more followers. This is 'Generation Gimme' after all.

What about the OWS people's beef is legit?

They have legitimate beefs when it comes to Government and Wall Street. They were onto something early on with their protests. But the protests changed as time went by. Now it seems to only be about someone owing them something because they deserve it. But they had it right in the beginning. Now they have lost a lot of support though.

I ask because I look at their list of demands that they released in the first few days of the first protest and there is nothing legit in there. I do know that originally there were some Libertarians there, I remember seeing a video of a Paul supporter there but I think that that message is long gone.

Well once 'Generation Gimme' stepped in and hijacked the Movement,that was it for me personally. Too many in their Movement just want to blame everyone but themselves for their own mistakes. I cannot support that kind of Entitlement attitude. You don't get to demand more Taxpayer Freebies just because your life hasn't turned out the way you wanted. There has to be some personal responsibility in Citizens' lives. They have a problem with big Wall Street Banks,then sue them and try to get some money out of them. I don't have a problem with that. But don't demand the Taxpayers be held accountable for individual problems with Banks. We are broke. The Gravy Train is all out of gravy.

I support peaceful demonstrations. I support a smaller federal government and following the Constitution. Therefore I would support the Tea Party more, though to be honest I dont affiliate myself with them per se. Im more sympathetic to their issues though.

I cannot support anarchy, marxism, socialism, nazism, rebellion against the Republic in favor for totalitarian rule. I don't adhere to violence. I don't support rape, murder, theft, etc. Thus I cannot support OWS.

The Tea Party is a top down movement started when Rick Santelli had a meltdown on the Chicago floor about possible Mortgage bailouts. They were also afraid the first black president would set policies that favored black people.

The OWS was a ground up movement unhappy with income disparity, financial industry bailouts and lobbyists setting policy.
