Tea Party Hypocrites?

Tea Party-ers are the best in the world. They give you hours of comedy. I like the 400 lb man holding up the sign that said, "No government health care - don't touch my Medicare". You see, he didn't know that Medicare IS government run health care. And he had that cornbread and turnip greens accent.

Then another guy who said, "No government run health care", every other tooth missing. A reporter ask him who his insurance provider was and he said he didn't have insurance. It cost too much. Once again, that accent. I thought I died and went to "Jethro" heaven.

Tea Party members become irate that national debt will be passed on to their children and grandchildren.
But they have no problem with dumping CO2 into the atmosphere and letting their children and grandchildren live with the consequences

Fail to see the connection... The CO2 thing is just another one of those silly hoax things that the EPA wants you to believe is a problem. Obama is the reason for such a large national debt. Both issues are pure bullshit but for different reasons.

There is absolutely no scientific evidence that CO2 is causing global warming. CO2 is required in our automophere to give us what we "breath--air." Without CO2 we would not exist--nor any other living organism.

So--you must be a cap & taxer? The government wants to add a tax to power companies who will in turn pass it on to consumers--so the government can collect more of your money to do what with? These energy taxes are not dedicated to green energy. It's nothing more than another tax that the government keeps to spend it on whatever they want. Now if Al Gore, Barack Obama & Nancy Pelosi (after taxing us to death) can figure out how to keep our ultra clean air over the United States & not wandering off to other countries that do not sign onto this--please let us know--LOL.

If your hero's--Barack Obama & Nancy Pelosi were really serious about going green. Why was not ONE single penny in the 787 BILLION dollar economic stimulus bill dedicated to building ONE single nuclear power plant? Why was it that the power grid to accomodate wind power only got 11 billion when experts told this congress they need 110 billion.

Nuclear power plants --would put millions of laid off construction workers back to work, but it appears that it's your party, the democrat party that is the obstructionist.
They've never wanted nuclear power--they only say they do when they're campaigning for your vote.

Republicans recently put up a bill that was of course turned down to build 20 new nuclear power plants in this country over the next 20 years. The majority of Democrats STOPPED them cold.

Here's my favorite sign---:lol: What's even funnier is it's true. There is going to be a 2010 tsunami that rolls through the house & the senate that will not leave a democrat standing. I am going to get my popcorn out that night & watch MSNBC--:lol: Can't wait.

BTW--Maybe you're smart enough to figure this out. How does one cut 500 billion out of medicare when there are millions of baby-boomers (still the largest generation in the US) presently going on medicare & whom will continue to do so for the next 15 years--"without rationing health care"? I'll be waiting patiently for your answer--:lol:

In truth our federal government couldn't run a lemonaid stand without driving it into bankrupsty.

A story emerging out of Britain suggests "follow the money" may explain the enthusiasm of the United Nations to pursue caps on carbon emissions, despite doubts surfacing in the scientific community about the validity of the underlying global warming hypothesis.

Sooner or later the bill will come due for unrestrained carbon emissions. Much like the dreaded deficit that the tea party bemoans, the bill for dumping unlimited carbon emissions into our atmosphere will be paid by our descendants

Rightwinger

Are you being serious here? I can't stop laughing at how you think that Carbon dioxide should be regulated. Tell me that you are kidding right? You are joking, yes?

LOL.......how absurd is this thread after much of the world now knows what Ive known for 15 years...................

"man made" global warming is a gigantic hoax!!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Just another in the lengthening list of lefty lies!!!!

As I told people several years ago.......a time would come in this country when utterring the term "global warming" in the context of it being a coming disaster would make one look like a complete mental case. And as usual.........Skooks prediction comes to pass.:clap2:

Oh............and ps................

Seattle has record lows for second day in row
For the second straight day Thursday, the temperature hit a record low in Seattle.

For the second straight day Thursday, the temperature hit a record low in Seattle.

National Weather Service meteorologist Dustin Guy says the low of 16 before dawn Thursday at Sea-Tac Airport broke the low of 21 set on that date in 1972. Wednesday's record low was 18.

Burke says Western Washington temperatures should start warming up over the weekend and might get back to highs in the 40s by Tuesday. He says there's only a chance of snow during the change.

Some other Thursday morning temperatures: Olympia 7, Bremerton 14, and Bellingham 14.

I gotta say though..........I do have to give Rightwinger tons of credit for having the balls to come back in this forum day after day after getting spectacularly pwned by conservatives like me. Most lefties flee when they get publically humiliated........at least in my experience. At least this guy comes back and doesnt seeemed phased by scores of posts which clearly frame him as a k00k. That he returns is commendable...........

Hold it skooks, I did not write AGW off completely.

But the very concept of regulating a gas that is actually highly beneficial to plant life--the only threat is that it is a green house gas and nothing more--is totally incredibly asinine.

Rightwinger listen

Carbon monoxide--bad
Carbon dioxide--extremely good. In fact Good out weighs bad by mega leaps and bounds. Extra production is worth turning planet into a giant green house--encourages plant growth and reproduction. Garden of Eden rings any bell?

amrchaos.........

bro.......Rightwinger listening to anybody with common sense is as likely as Barak Obama actually loving his country. Like most committed lefties, common sense is not part of the dynamic and never will be not matter what information of evidence is presented. Its like Al Gore saying just the other day, "The science is indisputable".

You look at any issue......for the lefty, the result is not AT ALL important..........its the process coupled with the good intentions that is the only thing that matters............which is of course, absurd. But not to the person who fails to provide any common sense to things intellectual.

Fortunately for guys that think like you and I..........there are far more common sense minded Americans than k00ks.......which is why the poll numbers for Obama have been falling like a stone in water. People with common sense know tunnel vision ideology when they see it. Why? Because it makes no sense, thus, their radar goes up. And for Obama and those who look to wreck our economy out of committment to ideology, they look more and more foolish!!

Human beings are generally very receptive to being intellectually persuaded that it's okay to be greedy.

The global warming deniers are just one more example of this.

In a broader sense, the otherwise inexplicable appeal of conservatism relies on it.

Twenty years ago this same group was denying that cigarette smoke was harmful. They just dusted off the same arguments and recycled them..

My grandmother smoked three packs a day and lived to be 90.......Gee, I live in Minnesota and it was 3 degrees today, how can there be global warming?

Not all scientists agree that cigarette smoke causes cancer....not all scientists believe that carbon emissions cause global warming

Think of all the people who will be put out of work.......think of all the people who will be put out of work

We need to do more studies.......we need to do more studies

How many from the same crowd that thinks Creationism should be taught in science class are at the same time insisting that there isn't yet sufficient scientific evidence for climate change?

excuse me

I did not disagree with you that Carbon Dioxide is a green house gas. But the the concept of regulating it is insane. Why not try a different methods such as Garden/plant life promotion and looking a ways to use the oceans to create Hydroponic farms that will help absorb the extra CO2

I seriously think that the direction of strong arming CO2 production in terms of regulations is just a very bad idea. The higher concentration of Carbon Dio is not as bad as it seems and other methodology in reducing/using it should be employed.
