Tea Party Darlings in Trouble?

This bunch of froot loops were elected on the promise of jobs and as we all know, they have not even made a vote in favor of jobs or introduced even one jobs bill. Instead, they have yammered almost daily about so-called "social" issues, passing lots of Big Government laws and taking basic human rights away from the people they hate.

Even if they were not in favor of huge government control over citizens, some of them are just so incredibly crazy, they're damn near certifiable.

The GOP is dead. I can't imagine how it can be resurrected any time in the near future. What they have now are a lot of fundie freaks who have been very effective in stopping any bipartisan efforts to work with the president. Its actually been pretty impressive the way they have taken over control of the government and split the congress.

Democrat spending boondoggles do nothing to create jobs. They only create a series of paychecks for worthless parasites.

Democrats are the ones who are always whining about social issues. The whole birth control / abortion thing is purely an invention of the Obama regime.

Looks like the blush may be off the Tea Party rose...

A series of Public Policy Polling (PPP) surveys conducted from Oct. 25-26 and released on Sunday show four GOP freshmen -- Reps. Allen West (R-Fla.), Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), Chip Cravaack (R-Minn.) and Frank Guinta (R-N.H.) -- facing trouble in the polls. Veteran Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Calif.) is also in a battle for his electoral life.

Democrats have targeted West and Bachmann for elimination and outside groups are pouring in tons of money to defeat them. I don't know about the other tea party candidates, but I assume the same story applies there.

Welcome to the post Citizens United world.

The Tea Party was in trouble as soon as it let itself be assimilated by the Republican Party.

You mean, sold out to the Kochs.

Koch brothers had nothing to do with it, but your obsession with them is duly noted.

It was Palin, Bachmann, and Beck that kept pushing for the Tea Party to just vote Republican. Now the Tea Party is just a page in history.
