TEA Party Civil War

They're too embarrassed to admit they didn't *get* what we knew the loons wanted all along.

When Michele Bachman backs out because they're too wingnutty, you KNOW there's trouble.

From the aritcle:

The tea parties have prided themselves as volunteer-run, grassroots demonstrations that demand responsible government spending. Those ideas have caught fire. In Tennessee, there are 43 different tea party groups.

The group holding the Nashville convention, Tea Party Nation, has lost support over the past year. Former Webmaster Kevin Smith quit the group and started talking.

"They're not indicative in any way of the Tea Party movement," Smith said.

He said that Tea Party Nation is a for-profit business and that the $549 convention price tag and the $349 dinner to see former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin were not in line with Tea Party ideals.

High-profile supporters such as Blackburn reconsidered whether to speak at the convention.

"We're concerned that the We The People event has become the I The Organizer event," Blackburn told Channel 4 Wednesday.

Good for the sponsors for pulling out, I hope others follow suit. The Tea Party Nation sounds like a fringe group to me.

Civil war? How'd you come up with that deceptive gem of a title? Oh, nevermind. I just answered my own question.

The tea party movement has already proven to be force on the political scene! The left fear them, so like everything they fear they slander the organization and try to hit it will false accusations of racism and sexism!

Trust me the tea partiers will be out in force for the elections, wiping the tax and spend Democrats into shape!

Note: I am not a tea partier, but I admire what they stand for!

Ditto. Couldn't agree more.

The Right:
Tea Parties:
Made up of workers (mostly from the middle to upper middle class) and small business owners. People who pay taxes and put money back into the economy through personal and business purchases. There objective is lower taxation, lower spending (both which are out of control) and holding the government in check! Yep our founding principals. Yet the left bashes these mostly hard-working Americans. :(

Minute Men:
People who justifiably want protected borders and a check on illegal immigration. They are casted as racists (and there are probably a few racist that get in), but there are many blacks and latinos involved in it. Rosanna Pulido is the Mexican American Patriot leader of the IL minute men.

Pro-Lifers:
Some are crazy, but VERY VERY few kill or even commit crimes (including vandalism). As a pro-choicer I am against their objective, but as a father, I do understand their reasoning and motivation. I believe it is wrong to say they don't have any point.

Left:
Code Pink:
Mental midget women. None of these ugly women work or contribute to America. If it was up to them we would socialist paradise ruled by Islam.

Anti-war Hippie Movement:
Usually young leftists that know little other than that they hate the war. Again they don't work or contribute to the American economy. They preach against the war and Bush, but are usually ignorant off anything else.

PETA:
The animal rights activist that have used domestic terrorism to support their regime.

CAIR:
Muslim American front group for the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah and Hamas. They believe in Sharia law in America.

NAACP, Black Caucus, Black Panthers:
All RACIST groups that discriminate and segregate based on race. Amazing how the roles reversed. Blacks are free to discriminated openly. Membership in any of these groups probably won't prevent them from being elected to public office.

La Raza:
The racist latino organization. They preach open borders and consistently lay claims to TX, NM, AZ, CO and CA for Mexico.

Evironmentalist Groups:
If it was up to them we would have full cap and trade, destroying our businesses. And environmental regulations would be so tight that we would be a 3rd world country. These are the people that have kept us from drilling for oil (even though we have the 2nd largest reserves in the world after Russia) domestically or developing any nuclear plants!

The left seems to be brewing with non-working, non-economically contributing and YES racists! The right seems to have hard-working Americans sick of taxation and spending to death policies and open border policies.

Sorry I will choose the right "loonies"!

I didn't....it was in the article that you apparently almost read..

Civil War sounds good to me... where do I sign up?

I would relish the chance to kick some politician ass.

I believe they stand for the principles upon which this nation was founded: limited government, low taxes, national security, independence and fiscal responsibility.

Well they are made up of harding working Middle Class Americans and Small Business Owners, so they stand for lower taxations and lower spending. Both which have spiraled out of control!

My personal choice for the presidential race in the last election actually stood on all of those principles, but the "conservatives" rejected him as a kook. :eusa_whistle:

The deception here is the idea that the tea parties are some monolithic group of people. They arent. They are numerous different grass root groups that may have similiar ideas on smaller governmenet, fiscal responsibility, and following the Constitution, but differ completely in every other area.

Tea Party Nation <> (not equal to) the Ta Party movement...

It is but one group who, from the looks of things, seem more concerned with their own profits than the overall ideas of the movement itself...

REALLY? I had no idea MediCare was around back when our nation was originally founded?
