    I think it's time to revisit the stock exchange transaction tax. It should be substantially increased to help reduce the federal deficit. With the new automated trading systems placing thousands of trades without human intervention, this tax would greatly reduce the tax burden. In a way this isn't taxing anybody because machines are being taxed - not people.
    I can only laugh at the current tax rate on stock transactions.:tongue:
