LOL - I get my information either first hand or by researching the topic at hand in depth. When I read an article from any source, I try to look up the sources upon which it is based.

For example - how end of life care is handled in this country is first hand (from both sides, i.e. as a family member and from the hospital point of view).

When it comes to Iraq, well most of my info comes from discussions with my associates who have been there recently. When it comes to Afghanistan, well most of my info is first hand or from my associates.

As I've said before, on most of these topics I can argue either side. I just hate seeing people accepting the simplified self-serving arguments of either side.
