In another case, Israel's Haaretz daily quoted an Israeli commander describing how Hamas sent a 10-year-old boy into the battlefield in full view of the Israeli military to remove a gun from a felled terrorist and then pass the weapon to another terrorist. The commander at the scene said he ordered his troops to halt their fire as the Israeli military watched.

Another commander speaking to WND said Hamas snipers used the windows of a Jabaliya house that was clearly occupied by women and children to shoot at his unit.

"The aim is to draw us into killing civilians to bring about international pressure to end our operation," the commander said.

Now the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera quoted what it said was a Palestinian doctor at Gaza City's main Shifa Hospital disputing the Hamas casualty numbers.

Many media members claimed those numbers were mostly civilians. WND reported the media was parroting Hamas casualty counts with no independent verification

The Gaza doctor continued: "Perhaps it is like Jenin in 2002. At the beginning they (Palestinians) spoke about 1,500 dead, and at the end it turned out to be only 54 – of whom 45 were militants."

What you have been arguing is that Israel is to blame for everything Hamas does. The fact is that every civilian casualty in Gaza was the result of Hamas placing fighters and weapons in densely populated civilian areas, showing that Hamas has no more concern for Palestinian civilians killed in this operation than it does for Israeli civilians killed by their suicide bombs packed with nails and rat poison.

Rinising with sodium bicarbonate solution helps neutralize acids. Emove any visible chunks of WP using appropriate tools. Clothing or material that has WP should be discarded in water or allowed to burn in a safe location. Burns should be covered with moist saline-soaked dressing to prevent inflammation. Some recommend use of 0.5-2.0% copper sulphate pads but only for short period of time because of copper toxicity.

Of the 200 white phosphorus shells fired during the operation, only 20 that were fired by a single paratrooper brigade caused any civilian casualties, and the IDF has opened an investigation into whether that brigade's officers used good judgment in firing those shells.

Every objective person can say that Israeli tactics worked better then Hamas tactics if you look at it from the perspective that both are governments that (should) have as a first priority to protect their people.
