Does anybody know if the Tabasco plant was affected by Katrina?

Does anybody know if the Tabasco plant was affected by Katrina?

I haven't heard anything, but I have talked to friends in Lafayette and they said that they only received 25 mile an hour winds. The plant is closer to the coast and about 30 miles southeast of Lafayette so it may have gotten pounded more but I would think it has seen much worse over the years. I've visited that place, it made my eyes burn to walk through it. I've never been a huge fan of Tobasco because of the vinegar. My brother flies for Continental and brings back a carrot based hot sauce made with Habanero peppers from Beleise. . . yummy. You get the extreme heat without vinegar.
