T won Clinton by less than 1 point in WI. Gerrymandering

At heart of landmark Supreme Court case: a gerrymandered map that has helped lock in huge legislative majorities for Wisconsin GOP

There have now been three big election cycles since the current Wisconsin map took effect, featuring three very different outcomes at the top of the ticket.

  • In 2012, President Barack Obama, a Democrat, carried the state by 7 points.
  • In 2014, Gov. Scott Walker, a Republican, carried the state by 6 points.
  • And in 2016, the two parties finished in a virtual tie for president, with Republican Donald Trump beating Democrat Hillary Clinton by less than a point.
But these partisan shifts had little effect on the battle for the 99-seat state Assembly, where the GOP’s margin of control has averaged more than 20 seats under the lopsided map Republicans drew in 2011.

All the numbers show that the GOP’s advantage is real, it is large and it is much bigger than it

was under the previous map.

Perhaps the Dem should get all the voting info , and we will find out T didn't really win WI or MI.

perhaps you should get used to the fact that D J Trump is the president

Remember you won by a gray hair, so don't say Americans want this or Americans voted for T, because most of us did not and frankly we get sick of hearing it. Also you got help by the Russians, and you have the money on your side, and voter suppression and gerrymandering in the GOP states. Remember all that.

Where is that map of all the districts that wen to Trump?

Oh.

Here it is.

8 months later and you're still crying.

Fucking hysterical

You had lots of big money back T, Vets, NRA, Prisons, Koch brothers, Hannity, Rush , Beck, (3 large mouth bass) Laura Ingraham the biggest large mouth bass , Russian, WikiLeaks, pro Israel jews , and Evans. Not to mention Breibart , and Fox, and voter suppression. All the elites who want a tax cut and cut of regulations.

In Detroit for the recount that started , most paper ballots were unreadable. The machines also backed up in Detroit.
You had lots of big money back T
and even more backing Hillary.

I'm guessing this is yet another topic you know squat about.

True, Hillary did win the maj vote.

True, Hillary did win the maj vote.

A. the majority vote does NOT put the candidate in the Oval Office.
(Even YOU should have learned that by now)

B. the discussion was about money, and Hillary spent a ton more than Trump did.

If you want to look where gerrymandering helps, look to the majority minority districts that elect black members who otherwise couldn't get elected dog catcher because of a built in majority.

Good Lord you're stupid!

Next thing the lefties will tell you is that N. Dakota, S. Dakota, Vermont, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, and Delaware are gerrymandered despite the entire area of the state being an at-large congressional district

He won the Electoral College!

He is the President!!

End of Story!!!

Run a better Candidate that can win next time or run Warren and lose again...

The OP'er blame Gerrymandering but if you look closer at the vote totals you will realize Jill Stein did better than expected in states like Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania...

Now the question should be ask is how many of Sanders voters stayed home or voted for Stein and how many minorities that voted for Obama stayed home and did not vote for Clinton?
