A poll to learn that people don’t trust polls. How’s that for irony?

A HarrisX survey posted on The Hill's website found 52 percent of registered voters are doubtful about surveys they hear about in the news media.

According to the survey, 29 percent of respondents said they do not believe most polls, but they do trust a few; 19 percent said they "almost never" believe polls are accurate.

While the majority were mistrustful of polls, 15 percent of respondents said they "almost always" believed in polls they heard about in the press. Thirty-three percent said they believed most polls but not all of them.

Both the 2016 and 2018 polls were pretty much spot on.

And before someone makes up stories about 2016, remember that those polls were taken _before_ Comey deliberately threw the election to Trump.

Well, most people have no idea what polls are and are not.

Yet all the smart money not only bet on the polls, they pay for them. Skepticism is healthy for not all polls are created equal, but people are clueless about polls and probabilities and predictions...?

Comey did not 'throw' any election. He was not on Trump's side LOL

but the interpretation and analysis of polls varied, depending on who did the poll, and whether the polls were national polls, or state polls (state polls not being done in many cases)

Was it actually a poll "to learn that people don’t trust polls?"

but let us ask: What is the difference between a poll and a survey?

Right. Find me 10 people who were going to vote for Hillary until Comey announced that Hillary, always under investigation, denounced July 2016 of being GUILTY of what they investigated, was STILL under investigation!!! :auiqs.jpg::bye1::laugh2::lmao::spinner::lmao::laugh2::bye1::auiqs.jpg: And switched to Trump!!!

Oh and Manmouth, they were still polling her the night before and the night of the election as being a LANDSLIDE winner.
