We are talking about Egypt asshole! Either way, the Iraqi Christians didn't have so well in Iraq during Sadam's regime either!
Probably continuing the fine work Bush and the Republicans started in Iraq.
Since the U.S. invasion, Iraq's Christians have been mostly driven out of the country by violence directed against them for their religion.

Last Christians Ponder Leaving a Hometown in Iraq
Iraq's disappearing Christians are Bush and Blair's legacy
The irony of the Iraq invasion is it may have wiped out their faith where other conquests failed
Iraq's disappearing Christians are Bush and Blair's legacy
it must be acknowledged that it almost appears as if President George Walker Bush were waging a global war against Christians.
Bush's Global War on Christians
Another Bush/Republican disaster the right wants to blame on Obama.
Depends on how you define, "didn't have so well". Under Saddam, the Christian population grew to over a million and a half. They were unmolested. They had churches. They could work any job. In fact, it was the same for women. They were college professors, doctors, lawyers, teachers and could wear western clothes.
Iraqi's never asked Bush to come in and bomb their country. After Desert Storm, you can bet the US had multiple satellites permanently stationed over Iraq. Include that with the sanctions and only a morbidly retarded drooling idiot could possibly believe we didn't know what was going on in Iraq. You tend to keep watch on people you already had a war with. Everyone knows that except fools. They don't know how to put one and one together.
Now all the women are in burkas and can't work. The Christian population is around 300,000 and dwindling. Islam is the national religion AND the foundation of their constitution. We basically turned Iraq into Iran. That's why the are now best friends. Oh, and "China" got the oil. There wasn't a single good thing that came out of the Iraqi fiasco. Unless you consider Bush's friends becoming billionaires from all the contracts he steered their way a "success".
Pray tell when did you care about women in burkas before the Iraq war? I've been on Afghan since the mid 90's. And fighting for the rights of muslim women. I never saw liberal men or women fighting against the Taliban on message boards.
You only want to slag Iraq because of Bush. Period full stop. You couldn't care less about the people.
