Surprise! Obama Is Creating More New Jobs Than George W. Bush

It only seems that gov't jobs are preferable to private sector jobs because they get more for doing less when in comparison. But the truth is that with private sector jobs you do far more work for way less wages (ie McDonalds) with little or no benefits to speak of.

So you're making the hilarious mistake of characterizing a McDonald's job as the archetype of private sector jobs generally. Think for a second about how stupid that might be.

McDonalds, Wall Mart = same difference.

Cut the bullshit. That won't fly here.
The facts here are clear. Government employment is a drain on the economy.

What facts?
Government employment is a drain on the economy.
The part of that you misunderstood was which?

That's not a fact... that's a myth.

Uhhh.. no.. it is not.. the money must be taken away from the private sector... and channeled thru multiple levels of bureaucracy adding waste and drain on the economy..

The myth that government jobs are helpful to the economy is on par with the myth that welfare spending stimulates the economy more than if the money was never taken out of the hands of the populous to begin with

The private sector creates jobs - government jobs are a drain on the private sector; economics 101!

Exactly!!! It is not government's responsibility to create jobs and they are not capable.

Hiring more bureaucrats because of all the oppressive laws they passed is not good for the economy. It's not good, period. His policies have discouraged hiring in the private sector, where all the wealth is created. Expanding government while private sector jobs disappear will bring us down, but that is the real plan.

According to this article the job gains were in the private sector. It also says there are fewer gov't workers than before.

Analysis: Is economy better now? You decide

There were no "gains"....The numbers mean nothing if they are based on nothing.
..
Here's the short version.
If 100 jobs are created and during the same period 150 people lost their jobs, the government still reports that 100 jobs were created. Additionally. When the revised Jobs Report is released next week, it will indicate a rise in the unemployment rate to 7.8 or 7.9%. At least that is the expectation of analysts..Or the number will again be skewed downward because the BLS considers those who've exhausted their UE benefits and those who've given up work, to have simply vanished. The government says they simply do not exist.
So when there are fewer jobs available but many more people not looking, the unemployment rates FALLS...Nice trick.
Oh, government does not create jobs. That's done by the private sector.

Tough shit pal. This is America, land of the free. If you don't like the competition get the hell out or offer a better carrot.

Numbers don't lie kids... there it is for all to see. :eusa_clap:

Surprise! Obama Is Creating More New Jobs Than George W. Bush - Yahoo! News

Even President Barack Obama acknowledges that the economy is creating jobs too slowly under his stewardship. Yet Obama can now boast that more jobs have been created during his first term than during that of his predecessor George W. Bush.

When Bush began his first term in January 2001, total nonfarm employment was 132.47 million. When his second term began four years later, it was 132.45 million, or effectively zero job growth.

Obama's first term isn't technically over yet, but so far, employment has risen from 133.56 million in January 2009 to 134.02 million in the latest report, for December 2012. That's a net gain of about 460,000 or 0.3 percent. As paltry as that is, it beats Bush's first-term performance...

Neither Bush nor Obama create private sector jobs... Which are the only jobs to measure any success upon.

More jobs created indicate the state of the economy ... Obama wins with more jobs created in 4 years than 8 years of Bush, Jr.

Now all you have to do is prove that the Executive Branch of the US Government created those jobs.

Now that I think about it, I did land my first full-time salaried professional job in 2008. Maybe it was me getting that job that is to credit for all those other jobs coming into existence.

We can get as absurd as you want with these misattributions.

Yeah, and job numbers included temporary census workers back in Obama's first term... Hardly what thinking people would call a success story. Nope, unless you are content in having America end up as Greece did, private sector jobs are all that matter... And they aren't so hot right now.

Jobs grow with population.

What the OP's meme fails to show is that Obama's economy fails pathetically to keep job growth at the pace of population growth. This is because he hates business, and the feeling is quite mutual. A third or less of American think he has us heading in the right direction. Hie is a piece of shit as a leader and lower than that as a human being.
