Does the Obama campaign really think that the American electorate is stupid?

nice selective quoting.

axelrod's actual quote is "if you throw a surge of american soldiers IN AN AREA that you can make a difference".

while obama's full quote is that without recognizing that political solution is needed not a military one, more military won't make a difference.

clearly some folks are banking that da merican electorate is stupid...

if the surge worked...bring the troops home.

otherwise its not a surge.

We will bring them home, and thanks to the surge, sooner rather than later.

ok. great.

thanks.

p.s. while your at it can you get me a fusion powered power plant?

I didn't quote anything I showed the actual interviews....Lmao

The "Surge" how silly people have become when their only praise for is for massive military buildups.

paradigm iraq immoral

Once Upon a Time...: Trapped in the Wrong Paradigm: Three Handy Rules

"I repeat: the entire war and occupation are immoral. If you criticize the Bush administration on the grounds that it "bungled" the war, this leaves one, and only one, inevitable implication: if they had prosecuted the war and occupation "competently," then you would have no complaints whatsoever. That is: you think the invasion and occupation of Iraq were justified and moral. If that's what you actually think, you belong in the Bush camp. You're arguing over managerial style, and about issues that are entirely trivial."

This has what to do with Obama and company lying on camera?

An immoral war that was largely supported by democrats...:cuckoo:

4,100 dead, 30,000 wounded, and $700 billion dollars wasted. It is time to stop the bleeding.

It's not our country.
It's not our country, just in our national interest to make sure we finish the job. We could leave prematurely as Obama suggests but...

It's not our country.

Germany is not your country either. But I'm sure you applauded that speech Barack Hussein Obama gave to the socialist's that don't like us.

Oh and before I forget, congrats on your citizenship to the world kirk. I'm so envious.

OUCH!

Yes, sadly true, Jeeves. And you do us a real service to remind us of this fact.

The D's either gave Junior a blank check to conduct this war, or if you think they did not give him a blank check, then they failed to rein him in when his conduct exceeded his Congressional authorization.

Either way you look at it, the D's leadership in Congress must share the blame (or praise, depending on how you view the whole deal) for Iraq.

While they were in the minority at the time, they were in a position to vote against authorization individually, and too few of them took that opportunity for them to, NOW, wash their hands of their own responsibility for whatever the outcome will be.

What was the goal of the surge? To make it safe enough for us to stay forever?

Bush doesn't want a timetable for withdrawl, but he is ok with a horizon. That's because no matter how much you move towards it, you never actually get there. I heard that on the Daily Show last night. LOL.

Well it would seem Patreus would know a little more about the conditions in Iraq than you. Patreus is withdrawing troops at a responsible rate.

It's not Saddam's country anymore either. (this is a kinda cool forum with lots of alternative viewpoints and I'm a noob so I'll refrain from adding bitch to the end of that sentence)
