New Jobless Claims Jump by 37,000 After Hitting 2-Year Low

WASHINGTON -- New jobless claims in the U.S. jumped last week by the most since February, reversing a sharp fall two weeks ago. The rise is partly a result of seasonal factors but also reflects the job market's
weakness.

The Labor Department says new claims for unemployment insurance jumped by 37,000 to a seasonally adjusted 464,000. Analysts expected a smaller rise, according to a survey by Thomson Reuters.

The sharp increase comes after claims fell steeply two weeks ago to their lowest level since August 2008. But much of that drop was driven by temporary seasonal factors and not necessarily by an improving job market.

Two weeks ago, General Motors and other manufacturers reported fewer temporary layoffs than usual this time of year, the Labor Department says.

I guess they are holding onto that 400 Billion of unspent "emergency" stimulus until a the last month before the Election so they can get the most bang for OUR BUCKS!

Not only is the global economy in a mega-recovery, but the daily temperature readings are soaring to Abraham Lincoln's, "Undisclosed Location" levels: Last reported out at about 300 degrees or so. They appear to have found it off the coast of Louisiana, a few months ago.

The recovery so far this summer is probably best-regarded as a kind of training plan for the Dick Cheney, post-funereal event. It just keeps gettin' warmer along the way, though the denizen with oar tends to claim that they really on some nature of water.

Even the Governor of All Of Baton Rouge has been calling for more drilling in the real waters offshore, in the Gulf of Mexico, likely in some search for the Lincoln whereabouts, again. It does get remarkably warm in some locations, even near to Huey Long!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(So it is back to the older South of, "Don't Tax You, and Don't Tax Me: Tax that fella' behind the tree," right t'over there, yonder. Mainly now, they are the rich people, now in the recovery! They are the rich hoarding all of the money for themsevles. They are the rich not honoring their pledges to restore Haiti. They are the rich that many would say: Have at least the sense that Goddess gave to. . . .well! Women know about these things: Even shopping for a Governor's Seat, at $160 mil. and counting!)
