I want to buy a Laptop Netbook. But I checked the prices and I found that netbooks happen to be a lot more expensive in Japan than they are in Europe. The cheapest laptop I have seen in Tokio in the almost four weeks has been 69.ooo Yen, and that is one with japanese software.

Not sure if this is real or spam but here goes.

I have been to Japan many times and noticed that their laptops are usually 25-50% higher than what we get here in the states. I figger, hardware is hardware so I always go for the lowest price.

I have an Acer Aspire laptop with Windows Vista that I bought at Wally World (WalMart USA) over a year ago, cost me about 300 bucks. (I don't shop at WalMart anymore but that's another story)

My wife is Japanese and this is how we get two languages on one system:

Go to this page and follow the instructions. It's real easy:
Add an input language

When your done, you'll have a little thing on the bottom of your screen that you can click and select the language you want, no re-start necessary.

Hope this helps.
