Sucking All Of The Joy Out Of Life

Sorry bout that,

1. I think whoever the loser was who made this little girl stop her lemonade stand, should have his nuts cut off, and shit canned for good measure.
2. Makes me fucking sick!!!!!

it doesn't...

but the loony is strong on this thread.

Yes, with every post you make, all the logic you forsake, the loony is strong.

That is so like the "fee for everything" in this state of scenic beauty but looney tune blue politicians...:cuckoo:

OK, I'll repost from page #1:

Where in the OP, or in the article, does it say, "Liberals" or "Liberal Policy" was the cause of Bureaucrats shaking down a 7 yr old for a license for a limonade stand?

People, get the fuck hold of yourselves: there isn't some "looney tune blue politician" lurking behind every single bureaucratic fuck-up.

Portland, OR is Looney Tune Lefty Land, Samson...

I'm pretty sure if you rounded up all the conservatives in Portland, OR you'd still have a hard time getting up a game of bridge...

Something like this happening in Portland, OR doesn't surprise me... I think that's the jist of what people are saying... No, there is no evidence that it was due to some liberal policy or some individual liberal, but the location of the incident is what causes me to be "un-surprised"... I'd have the same reaction if it hapened in Seattle or San Francisco...

Not sure this falls under the liberal vs. conservative banner... I think it's just another idiot who can't think past his nose.

I'm dealing with a similar situation with one of my rental properties. Cyprus fence has been in the same place for 50 years, been replaced several times, obviously, all of the suden I have the zoning board up my ass. $800 for a new land survey, $300 fine for not having a permit (who knew? Nobody I know knew you needed a "fence" permit) and several days off work. The people that work there are like zombies... they just regurgitate code.

It's just a FENCE!!!!!!!

So, you're saying that EVERY SINGLE law in Portland is rooted in some sort of socialist agenda?

How do you think enforcing the health code requiring a licence for a 7 yo to operate a limonade stand at a fair, or wherever-the-hell it was she was, reinforces a Vast Liberal Conspiracy in Portland, OR?

No, I don't speak in extremes or pure black & white...

I'm saying exactly what I said... The location of the incident causes me to be un-surprised...

I never said it did... Maybe you need stronger coffee this morning...

If I don't, I'm certain I'll still be able to avoid non-sequitur posts designed to broad-brush small incidents with an entire ideaolgy.

Innocent of what?

Dude, your really confusing today... I think I'll just back away slowly and leave you to that...

:scared1:

Nanny state regs usually originate from loony libs who try to "protect the stupid" from themselves. That's a generalization you can take to the bank - worth 120 dollars. Lol

How is asking for a licence to run a food or drink establishment a "Nanny State Regulation?"

Are you suggesting there shouldn't be any such regulation? No standards for restaurants?

The Socialists/Progressives are destroying our nation. I think most people are finally beginning to understand this. It's time for real change. Make your voice heard in 2010 & 2012.

Yup. And there will be hell to pay here about that. Really stupid action.

Not quite as stupid as letting the oversight people get so corrupt that no rules were enforced and 11 men died, and the Gulf end up polluted with millions of gallon of oil. President Obama should have came down on these people early on. He did the right thing in firing his appointee for failure to start the cleansing process immediatly. The people at BP and the people at the MMS that let BP get away with the safety violations should all be facing negligent homicide charges.

Apples Oranges. Your inability to see the difference between a lemonade stand and an oil well explains a lot.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but it sure looks like his post is about the difference between a lemonade stand and the well.

Every US city over 500,000 is Looney Liberal Land.

then perhaps the fine upstanding self-professed conservatives should stop sucking up all of the blue state money that gets paid by those US cities over 500,000.

Well.. maybe the urban city cesspools should have more federal parks, military bases, etc

You think it's the parks department in the red states that gets all the blue state's money?

Guess you only focused on one word instead of the part about military bases and ETC
