Its just the midterms and you guys had your chance in the Obama Years and now it's our turn to choose a new judge!

There is a big difference in a presidential election and one electing congresscritters!

The OP really believes there are no elections held during midterm.

As you know, that was a Presidential Election which meant, in that case, a definite change of the occupant of the Oval Office. After the mid-term election, we'll have the same President.

Emotion has disabled the cognitive process of some of the above posters. (Well, really only Asclepias.) The OP clearly means that only presidential elections have consequences in regards to nomination of supreme court justices. Per the Constitution, he is absolutely correct.
