the United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that.
So why don't we just eliminate taxes all together and print our own money to pay for anything we need?
Space shuttle program? No problem. Give us a few days and we'll print a few billion for you. More education? Don't think about it. Here's a few trillion for education. Think about the number of printing presses we could open up nationwide if the government just printed its own money to pay for everything! That would solve the unemployment problem immediately!
