Cut spending cuts jobs and you cut taxes and taxes is revenue that pays down the deficit that balances the budget. How much taxes is too much?
Raise taxes across the board. Income, state and sales. Pay down the deficit and balance the budget. Dont cut public jobs and services. Teachers, fireman, policemen, etc. Cut no government services except those that are pork. We cannot cut government spending without cutting jobs and spending. If we lay off teacher, fireman and policemen, public employees, the unemployed do not pay taxes , they collect taxes via unemployment insurance which is government spending. Do the GOP plan to cut unemployment insurance to balance the budget? If they do the unemployed will apply for government assistance. Welfare and food stamps. More government spending. That is the GOPs plan to balance he budget and pay down the deficit. Duh? They plan to bankrupt the government by making it smaller and increase the deficit and do nothing to balance the budget and lead us into a depression as we have never seen before and may never recover from.
