Liberals know that Obama's 2012 win is nothing more than Bush's fourth term, they just refuse to admit it when they are wrong... It's why were and still are, very angry people.

Same silence about the war dead in Afghanistan, drone attacks on civilians in Pakistan, signing of the NDAA, re-authorization of USAPATRIOT, summary assassination of American citizens, rendition, "enhanced interrogation", the TSA completely out of control, interventions in Egypt and Libya....And what ever became of Code Pinko?

They were pretty quiet when Bush OVERDID those things, too. Obama HAS changed how they are used, all he could do. NOT reported on the PPM...

The Pub Propaganda Machine, of course, would jump on any obsure example, just for the controversy/infotainment/BULLSHYTTE, dupe.

The Rabid Right is completely silent in their praise for Obama continuing Bush's war on terror.

As far as Obama goes for them, he can do no right.

Here's my reply.........take a couple of minutes and watch:

As long as he doesn't frivilously invade another nation based on shaky intel, he's good with me.

Seriously, think about that. Bush started a freaking war.........a war......for nothing.

Seriously, think about it...Your Boiking escalated a war that should have been wound down and continues to prop up a brutal dictator in Afghanistan, and continues the bombing of civilians with unmanned drones in Pakistan, a country that hasn't even had a war declared against....For nothing.

Physician, heal thyself.

Amazing that Obama sends drones to strike Al Qaeda in Pakistan and yet provides Al Qaeda weapons in Libya and Syria. To say nothing of arming the Mexican cartels and still the liberals are fixated on Bush.

I haven't been silent!

It was for this very reason I withdrew my support for his policies over 2 years ago.

It wasn't for nothing. It was to secure control of the most productive oil fields in the world and to direct enormous sums of America's wealth into the pockets of war profiteers.

Some of the most egregious crimes in American history have been brazenly perpetrated between 2001 and today.

by Joel McDurmon
Dec 15, 2012

Over 3,000 US troops have secretly returned to Iraq via Kuwait for missions pertaining to the recent developments in Syria and northern Iraq, Press TV reports.

According to our correspondent, the US troops have secretly entered Iraq in multiple stages and are mostly stationed at Balad military garrison in Salahuddin province and al-Asad air base in al-Anbar province.
Reports say the troops include US Army officers and almost 17,000 more are set to secretly return to Iraq via the same route.

So much for Oblamer Transparency and his promise to withdraw the troops from Iraq.

Obama continues rendition despite extensive condemnation of tactic

January 2, 2013

US President Barack Obama’s administration is continuing rendition, the practice of sending terrorism suspects to third countries for detention and interrogation without due process.

George Bush administration’s practice of rendition is continuing under the Obama administration despite widespread condemnation of the tactic in the years after the September 11, 2001 attacks, the Washington Post reported on Wednesday.

According to the US daily, it is unknown how many renditions have taken place during Obama’s first term due to the secrecy involved but his administration has not disavowed the practice.

In the latest example of Obama administration’s use of the tactic, a number of American interrogates visited three European men with Somali origins in a jail in the small African country of Djibouti. The detainees had been arrested on a vague pretext in August as they were passing through the African country.

US agents accused the three men of supporting Somalia’s al-Shabab group. The prisoners were secretly indicted by a federal grand jury in New York two months after their arrest. They were then clandestinely taken into custody by the FBI and flown to the United States to face trial.

The secret arrests and detentions became known on December 21, when the suspects appeared briefly in a Brooklyn courtroom.

Obama’s torture loophole

By Paul Woodward
May 14, 2010

What’s the difference between a US-military-run detention facility and an intelligence gathering facility? For one thing, Red Cross officials are being prevented from seeing how prisoners are treated when held at Bagram’s intelligence gathering facility. Is that so that they can be tortured in secret?

Two days after taking office, Barack Obama signed an executive order banning torture. The era of secret detention facilities and CIA-administered waterboarding were over. Or so we thought.

Earlier this week, the BBC reported:

The US airbase at Bagram in Afghanistan contains a facility for detainees that is distinct from its main prison, the Red Cross has confirmed to the BBC.

Nine former prisoners have told the BBC that they were held in a separate building, and subjected to abuse.

The US military says the main prison, now called the Detention Facility in Parwan, is the only detention facility on the base.

However, it has said it will look into the abuse allegations made to the BBC.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said that since August 2009 US authorities have been notifying it of names of detained people in a separate structure at Bagram.

“The ICRC is being notified by the US authorities of detained people within 14 days of their arrest,” a Red Cross spokesman said.

“This has been routine practice since August 2009 and is a development welcomed by the ICRC.”
The spokesman was responding to a question from the BBC about the existence of the facility, referred to by many former prisoners as the Tor Jail, which translates as “black jail”.

Prisoners say they have been kept in isolation in cold cells and subjected to sleep deprivation, but it turns out the CIA’s hands are clean — this time it’s the Defense Intelligence Agency at work. And as for the fact that the Red Cross has been barred from entering this facility, that’s because it isn’t being called a detention facility.

Obama

Apparently many of the Left have allowed Oblamer to continue Rendition and Torture. Only the crickets chirp now. Rendition under Bush bad, under Oblamer good, assassinating Americans good under Oblamer.
