Funny that most of Europe has good gun control and their police aren't being shot and killed regularly. They don't have regular mass killings. They have much lower homicide rates...
Their criminals are not shooting to kill and they don't target police. Their gun control laws haven't stopped their criminals from getting guns, their criminals don't use them to murder cops.
They simply don't have many shootings so police aren't being killed. We have guns everywhere and an arms race with criminals. Law enforcement is killed weekly, unheard of in civilized countries with gun control.
No, their criminals don't murder police officers.

I didn't say anything is going well, you did claim conceal and carry was not going well, are trying to say law abiding citizens are now committing crime because of conceal and carry?so how do you plan on keeping illegal guns out of the hands of criminals? and whats not going well? law abiding citizens are now robbing stores and banks because they are allowed to carry guns? is that what you are trying to sell here?
What is going well? Violent crime is up. We have regular mass shootings and they are getting worse. Law enforcement are killed weekly...
I'm saying we have too many guns. Criminals have more guns because of that. Would you try to rob someone unarmed? We have an arms race between citizens and criminals. Gun control has proven to greatly reduce mass shootings. It is also unheard of for law enforcement to be gunned down weekly in civilized countries with gun control.
No....gun control hasn't reduced mass shootings in Britain or Australia.....Britain averaged 1 every 10 years....they are still on track for that...and Australia has had about a dozen incidents where an individual with a gun went to a public space, and simply didn't shoot enough people, or the people he shot didn't die....and didn't make the level of a mass public shooting. Their gun control didn't stop these from happening.
Show me where any civilized country with gun control has anywhere near as many mass shootings as we do.

Too many guns.
Britain didn't have many before they banned guns...they averaged about 1 every 10 years...and had one ten years after they banned guns....Australia didn't have many if any before they banned guns....and they have almost had about a dozen of them....but luck and bad shooting aren't gun control...

These happened after Australia banned guns...
Tell me.....how is anything other than luck that kept these from being mass shootings...since the shooter obviously was able to get a gun and shoot people in gun free Australia...right?

‘Terror’ gunman was on parole
POLICE are investigating possible terror links to a siege in which officers gunned down one man and found another dead in Melbourne’s southeast.
A senior law enforcement figure said the gunman was on parole for a criminal offence and rated as a low-risk figure of interest to counter-terror authorities.
The Herald Sun has revealed the gunman was Yacqub Khayre, a Somali refugee who was known to counter-terrorism police.
Police shot and killed Khayre, a second man was found dead in the foyer of an apartment building in Brighton and three cops sustained gunshot wounds in the bloody hostage drama.
A male caller to the Channel 7 newsroom in Melbourne said: “This is for IS” and “this is for Al-Qaeda.” The station said a woman could be heard screaming in the background.
A Victoria Police statement confirmed police are investigating whether the incident is terrorism related.

Number of shootings in Melbourne area continues to rise
Three people will appear in court in Geelong after shots were fired between two moving cars on Thursday night, as the problem with gun-related violence in the Melbourne area continues to escalate.
The shooting at Geelong and another separate incident at Frankston brings to 10 the number of shootings in the Melbourne and Geelong areas since February 2.
Three people were arrested after shots were fired between two moving cars just before 6:30pm at Norlane.

Det Insp Fyfe said at least eight shots were fired from two different types of guns, one of which was a semi-automatic, and one bullet went through a car in the street, so it was fortunate no innocent bystanders were hurt.
4/28/16 port arthur shooting with assault rifle..
Man found shot in Port Arthur
Port Arthur Police are investigating a shooting at Dewalt and W. 14th Street. Police got the call at about 10:45 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived on the scene they found a 29-year-old man laying outside a car that was riddled with bullets. The man had a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to Christus Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Police say they believe the gun used was some sort of an assault rifle. There is no word on any suspects at this time.

Sydney police HQ shooting linked to terrorism: police commissioner
The actions of the 15-year-old gunman who shot dead a New South Wales police civilian employee were an act of terrorism, police say.
The radicalised youth of Middle Eastern background has been named as Farhad Jabar Khalil Mohammad.
He killed the police employee, Curtis Cheng, as he was leaving police headquarters at Parramatta in Sydney's west around 4:30pm yesterday.
The offender then fired several more shots at officers as they emerged from the building to respond to the incident.

And they use suicide to make their point, since they are the only way to make that statement about gun deaths...and since Japan, and South Korea have absolute gun control, and only criminals and cops have guns....and their suicide rates are higher than ours.....that study is crap...

A study tracking handgun laws on wait periods over a 45-year period found that a delay in obtaining a firearm after purchase reduced gun homicides by 17 percent. That breaks down to about 36 homicides per year for the average state. As of 2014, such laws in 16 states and the District of Columbia prevented about 750 gun homicides per year. If all 50 states required a wait, around 910 more lives could be spared, the authors report.
