Students for Obama: 'Obama Doesn't Deserve Four More Years'

In the past four years, we have changed. We once supported President Obama. Obama made many good promises. Obama seemed non-partisan and willing to bring about change. He was charismatic. We were excited to see what would come of his administration. Sadly, Obama has failed us, instituting policies that have negatively affected us.

Because of this, Students For Obama has become Students No Longer For Obama. We have awakened to the President's failures, and we feel that it is time for a change. It's time to allow someone else a chance in the Oval Office. Obama doesn't deserve four more years of reckless behavior.

The democrat party has been in control of public education and higher education for some time now. They have been in control of public education due to their support of teachers unions, which has become a block vote. They have become in control of higher education due to their approach to affording higher education. Has anyone ever noticed how tuition rates keep going sky high despite the economic climate? Is there any other industry, other than higher educaiton, that has taken a pay cut? I can't think of any. The federal government approach to higher education has always been to reduce loan interest rates and make it easier for kids to get a loan, and not to reduce tuition rates. If the government would stay the hell out these tuition rates would have to come down naturally, or those in higher education would be forced to find another profession and get a real job. Eeeks!!

However, now the gig is up. Kids are getting out of college and can't find jobs. They woke up after 4 years and realized they were in an Atlas Shrugged movie. In addition, what they are realizeing is that the more powerful our centralized government becomes, the more intrusive they become, not only on their own citizenry, but on the international world at large. In short, they become so meddling that they can't help themselves. This means more wars abroad with troops now in over 70 countries around the world. What has happened is that the world is becoming a police state, especially when they pass such legislation as the Patriot Act and NDAA.

As for the move towards libertarianism, I think it is inevitable just likeit was with the Founding Fathers. After all, the desire for freedom is innate. The indoctrination can only work so long. When money talks, ideology walks, especially as freedoms and oppurtunity wane. I just wonder how long we can avoid marshall law.
