We should print fliers with information about governments who slaughter peasants after gun confiscation, and crime stats in anti-gun countries...basically explaining why protesting guns makes people morons.

...and hand them out to the student minions

I think high school students should again be taught the history of civil disobedience in this country.

You see something that you think is "wrong." You protest it by doing something that is illegal, but generally harmless (e.g., sit at a lunch counter where people like you are not allowed to sit). Then you ACCEPT THE LEGAL PUNISHMENT (e.g. go to jail), and hope that your "unjust" punishment will draw attention to the "wrong" that you are fighting.

Staying out of school for a couple hours, while cheered on - and probably getting extra credit - by your Leftist teachers, is NOTHING. It is snowflake politics. It is meaningless.

If this is the best you can do, then STFU.

You mean you want to brainwash them to think like you.

These kids could give a shit less about school shootings. They are walking out just to get out of school and not get in trouble. If they were permitted to walk out over elephant farts, they would do it in a heartbeat.

More nonsense.

The last event had less that 10% of the students present. (It was on a weekend) The average age of the last protest was 49.

They had this one on Thursday. They got to get out of school. That's
why the majority was out there. Y'all don't believe they actually have any
understanding of any of this...do you?

I can remember being in High School and the Conference Tournament was
played in our Gym and we played at 2pm in the opening game.

Every student that paid a quarter could attend. The place was standing
room only. When 3 pm rolled around (when school officially let out)
90% of them left the gym. (And it was a close game)

They came because they could get out of class. Just like demonstrations in
college in the 60's. After Kent State they were lucky to get a few hundred
to protest. The rest used the prior demonstrations just to get out of class
and impress liberal profs.
