With the withdrawal of most of the US troops and the draw down to no scheduled combat patrols in Iraq by US forces, where exactly is that civil war we were told would happen?

Maineman ASSURED us that when the US left the Country would drop right into a civil war. Others have also assured us that Iraq can not stand on its own. How long do we need to wait for these events?

You claimed with out large numbers of foreign troops doing the fighting the Country would drop into civil war. American troops are not doing much fighting at all. In fact our dear leader is ANNOUNCING that combat troops have LEFT the Country.

you really think civil war would start the next day? you realize today (sept 1st) was supposed to be the last day, but we left early for the surprise element right?

there have been numerous bombings daily in the last week and it wasnt even a week ago when over 8 locations were attacked at the same exact time with suicide bombers, gunmen, etc

Where is your civil war?

I claimed that when American forces left, that the country would dissolve into sectarian violence, that the shiites would take control and establish close ties with Iran.

Like I said, let's revisit this discussion six months after all our troops are gone.

Israel missed their supposed chance to attack, that was BEFORE the reactor went ONLINE. You guys keep claiming we, the US , or Israel will attack Iran, How many years will you keep making that claim? This has been around for 5 now and has not even remotely happened.
