No and what has Bush done for you? He gave US a hill of shit. It is amazing that no matter how bad bush gets, you always fall back on an unproven of what gore or kerry would have done.

Your grandchildren, if you have any, will wonder why we had such a moron in the office not once but twice.

I think what we're seeing are the 25% dead enders: those who would always put Party over Country, rather than see a D be president.

Even Nixon, after his crimes against the nation were laid bare, left office with a 25% approval rating. Those are the die hard republican base, who still thought Nixon was doing a good job, even though he was a criminal.

Has nothing to do with being a die-hard anything. The crime he was involved in did not negate everything else he did. I'd have to guess those of you who think Nixon was somehow different than Bush must only know about him from glossed-over history books.

Based on his track record, Nixon would have bombed insurgents into submission, he'd have invaded Pakistan to get at the Taliban (as he invaded Cambodia in 72), and we'd be facing off with Iran at the Iran-Iraq border over its nuclear program.

The real difference was and is the American people. What was best for this Nation used to come first.

You, of all people, along with a few others got some nerve say accusing ANYONE of putting party over country. You are a broken record when it comes to partisan rhetoric.

I think that's probably true.

Funny thing about Nixon... but for Watergate, he actually would be considered one of the best presidents ever...

But that's real different from the embarrassment that is baby bush.

He's only an embarrassment to those of you who don't agree with ideals. He is in fact, nowhere near the worst, nor the best and he is no more or less embarrassing in his perceived shortcomings than any other President.

What's LBJ remembeed for? Vietnam. Hardly ever comes out that he is the President most responsible for the advancement of Civil Rights in this country.

He btw, was the last Democrat President with a functioning brain.
